Any PIANO or ORGANIST from Chicago is going to be next level! WENDELL LOWE, JASON TYSON, RODNEY EAST, PHILLIP FEASTER, LEONARD RAZOR, etc are just monsters!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Watching these great video learn.... What a friend we have in Diminished. Gospel keyboardist never met a note they didn't like to double. Chords need to be THICK. Thank you for your videos.
Maybe a better way to put it is this way. For instance, there is a song called withholding nothing where this is a progression: Gm7 Eb/Bb F major. I wanted to add a secondary dominant to the Eb/Bb (the key is F major). So, I thought about doing a F13 before the Eb/Bb. However, it sounded weird. I suppose because I would eventually end on a F major, which is somewhat similar. How do you explain this? What’s an example of an idea you would use in passing to the slash chord? Maybe, you could share a chord?
Hello Sean! I need some guidance with something. Here is a link to chord sheet: sanctuarypraiseteam.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/withholding-nothing-chord-chart.pdf * I want to add the secondary dominant concept to Eb/Bb leading to the F major. This is on the withholding nothing part. I was playing around with some idea. I thought since Eb/Bb is a four chord, I could add maybe an F13 to come before Eb/Bb. Maybe, this voicing FEb/ADG. However, I didn’t like the sound. I wonder is it because I resolve to an actual F major chord after all of that. What are your thoughts? I guess I’m confused on how secondary dominants work with slash chords.

I cant stand that my brain functions so linear. 🙄 Help me Lord.
I Quit.
Not a good musical balance between organist and soloist--he's doing much and she isn't so much.
This is my first time seeing someone accuse someone other than a drummer for doing too much…………still don’t agree
