    Thanks so much for the video:) I have a question why here 9:14 you said that the bipolar will be depolarized and before that it is hyperpolarized where does all the positive ions that cause it to depolarize come from?

      these ions are dissolved in the tissue fluid (outside the cell). there's more of them outside because cells are actively transporting them out of the cell's cytoplasm.

      @@LSCBiology so there are chloride ions in the cell's cytoplasm after the hyperpolarization and they are then being actively transported out of the cell causing the cell to be depolarized ?
