Jerry Sharell: In the Spotlight

When Kids incorporated hit TV stations in 1984, it became an instant hit with Fans. The show would go on a memorable 9 year run, paving the way for so many cast members, who would go on to have successful careers in the music business. The show had many different cast members through its run… however, like in many shows, no one forgets the original members. One of those cast members responsible for the success of that show was Jerry Sharell, who played the talented and dependable “ Mickey “ Jerry’s voice was one of a kind, and his covers of Rick Springfield, Hall & Oates, and John Waite were some of the best performances during that show’s run.
Years Later, Jerry’s creativity and innovation produced several albums for Music sensation Kimberly Locke, and he was very instrumental behind the scenes for Music legend Barry Manilow, making a lasting impact on the music industry.
Tonight we celebrate this gifted human being, who has over 40 years of music and television to his resume. Jerry has stood the test of time, and is a credit to his family, friends and fans.
