I’ve watched streaming and there are people that literally gift thousands of dollars worth of subs and donations. He’s absolutely telling the truth. The hosts have just never watched a stream on twitch before.

I did join a church group but it was more acquaintances. I think when you get over 50, most people have friends or like having their own time alone. A coworker once said, there's that nice loose friendship of a book club but then someone says, "Do you want to see this movie" and it's gets uncomfortable" I think it's because it's hard to make friends and share so many decades with new people. Someone else might jump on that invitation but what if outside of the group, you don't like the person? I guess for some easy friendships are just harder than when in twenties.

Collections: See if that type of collection does well on eBay. And some things are better as collections, but some are better sold in smaller sub-collections or individually.
Just know that Power of Attorney is for prior to the person's death. Executor is for after death.

To Jordan I went through FPU and purposely left my credit cards in the car cuz I kne they would ask me to cut them up and I couldn’t do it. Then the day happened where I finally did everyone was crying I was crying but they were gone. I was terrified but could feel the peace washing over me when I did. Haven’t used a credit card since and have been debt free for 4 years now. U can do it
The Jordan call is a great example of the excellent teamwork of Jade and John! Dr. John Deloney truly is a guitar virtuoso in the literal way but also in an emotional sense. He has the talent to strum the exact right strings of the hearts of the people he speaks with. Whether it's delicately or firmly, he knows what tone needs to be added to compliment the songs of people's lives to make them nr 1 hits. You John are truly a Rockstar! You Jade are a soul Queen! Wow, how unprofessional of of Dr on the first caller. Why was he shaming him and telling him he's lying etc. just because he's not come across this type of behaviour before? Very unprofessional. A bit of googling would tell you this is a fairly big problem, and yes he left that out but it's often pretty females gaming not always but they often make the big money. Not saying he didn't do a terrible thing but for a professional Dr this was really rude.
Yep! Calling him dude and bro was so demeaning. Dr. D likes to display his dominance over other men. Shaming the guy near the end who wanted to get out of debt, but his wife was hesitant, was also so cringe. If the genders had been reversed, he would have totally laid into the husband and called him a child. Dr. D loves to call men "child". Maybe he should look in a mirror.

In the call at 1:46:56 why did Jade recommend taking $10000 and paying off the car loan when they should pay off the $4000 student loan debt first. That would eliminate a debt and leave them $8000 in savings. Then they could throw extra at the credit card which was $7000.

I absolutely love the show and listening everyday and all the information and great advice. The attitude however from her on," if u wanted to speak to someone else other than myself or dr.john delony, you should have called another day!" That made me not want to tune in when she is hosting. That attitude is somewhat cocky and rudish to me. Some people on limited on when they are able to call, and advice from anyone of them is a great gift to learn to manage financial issues and situations. However , I'd rather her tone be not so smarty pants to people whom are calling at vulnerable moments with vulnerable advice. Just my option and they are like....buttholes. ha ha everyone have a great evening. Thanks for the show !!

Again, the fallacy that credit cards are bad. They are only bad if you buy stuff you don’t need or cannot pay off the balance this getting charged interest. If you think about your purchases before you buy them, and have the money to buy it then it’s the same as having a debit card. Credit cards are not for everyone, I get that but they are for some.
The people that call the show are not great with self-discipline.
So they are only bad for 99% of Americans.

Jade and John are demonstrating they have NO IDEA about high-value collections. It's all about rarity and condition. Ronnie, you don't call in to a radio show to get advice on valuable collections - this is an area that is NOT their expertise. You need advice from real experts. You have to decide if you want to sell through a bona fide auction house who will take about 40% of the sale or sell them one by one. This is NOT about John's story with older folks and their "stuff" around the house and this is not just about "things" that Jade is talking about. Your collections are in a totally different camp. You also have to take into consideration the tax ramifications of selling high value collections. My husband has been a serious coin collector for over 30 years and just sold a large part of his collection. You can easily get scammed, so be very careful.

I hesitated to make a comment because I knew you would be stalking my name - but I felt like I had to warn him to be very careful. Actually, I wasn't listening to the show. My friend was listening and texted me to listen to the final call because she knows about my husband's interest in rare collectible coins and she asked me to comment before Ronnie made a serious mistake. I had to weigh that against knowing you had my name on speed dial and would be there with yet another snarky comment. And, yes, I did hear he doesn't particularly want to sell. However, he should sell when he can because these kinds of collections left to heirs who are not interested and know nothing about them can result in serious financial loss because there are so many charlatans out there.

Whole life insurance that you buy for your baby is NOT a waste. It's not about being an investment. It's about guaranteed insurability. We purchased it for each of our babies at birth and now 3 of our kids have medical conditions that would prevent them from getting term life. I agree that for a healthy young adult they should cash it in and get term life because they can. However, I would recommend every parent get a whole life policy for their baby at birth just in case a condition develops later that makes them unable to get term life, or would make it too expensive for them to afford. I'm so glad we bought it for our kids even though at the time of birth they all were healthy. We had no idea they would later develop serious medical conditions.

What? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. There is no possible reason for a kid to have life insurance! If they don't have an income that others rely on, they should not have life insurance. End of story.
@@amireallythatgrumpy6508 it's put in place so that they will have it as adults in case they develop a health condition that would disqualify them from getting life insurance later. It happened to 3 of our kids. Thankfully we had it in place for our kids because now theyre adults. They would not qualify for term life insurance due to their health conditions, or at the least it would be so expensive they couldn't afford it.

You guys have great advice and I enjoy listening to the listener stories. I understand the strategy on credit card for personal misuse but I can’t imagine not having one, most of my vendors for inventory accept it and we earn about $500-700 a month on our capital one card in cash back. Is there any way to nuance the advice ? All my customers use credit cards for their orders credit cards can be useful tools we set up auto pay balance in full and forget about it. Keep up the great teaching! I get it on the no cc in the beginning but listeners should grow To use credit cards wisely.
No way. Cc are not the way to go. Use a debit card. Works the same as cc. The cash back is a joke. That is how they get you to spend more. This is the best advice they give next to cash flowing all your purchases like cars etc.

Yes, Dr. John was in a really bad place 10-12 years ago with clinical anxiety and depression. He talks a lot about it in his book Redefining anxiety AND own your past change your future. Two AMAZING books. His healing journey was what led him into getting the counseling PhD in the first place and now he is the BEST trained counselor and so great at giving life changing wisdom because he’s been there before. ❤️

Am I the only one who rarely uses the physical card? I know my number use it online for paying some bills and Amazon and pay it off weekly. My dog chewed the card but I rarely use it in stores. I would assume in 2024 that gentleman has the same and a quick call to card company would get him a new one (if he destroyed it) I hope he does change but the cutting up is very old school.
I have no idea what my number is, but I do know the CVC and have it saved in my Google wallet lol. Hopefully cutting up the physical card leads him to canceling the accounts fully!
@@TH0KH . I had an easy one with my American Express and it’s about 20 years old but my Chase card I just have saved and I pay it off when I use it so my checking account as a sea of. Chase withdrawals but I do like the $300 or so in points I get to spend Christmas.

When you achieve HVAC certification and making the 38/hour, celebrate by adding on ANOTHER tiny-shed to double your square footage, DONE AGAIN!

@@pamsmith1665 they are allowed everywhere outside the city limits, they are simply small homes. Some cities allow them inside the city limits. Most allow even shipping container homes as long as they pass code inspection. Average home prices is over 400k now. Absolute insanity to get that mortgage, 7% interest, high insurance and property taxation, and high utilities for so much more square footage, having to furnish it, people are insane, then they act shocked when they are faced with bankruptcy.

Baby steps isn’t going to fix the first callers debt. Bankruptcy is his only solution. It sounds like he’s paying to stream while he’s at work and he rolled old debt onto new cards. It also sounds like his wife was getting collections calls and the jig was up. Therapy isn’t going to save the marriage. The trust is gone.

Parents only got long term insurance because that was the thing there was no term life insurance. They will not complain once term life is explained.
