Nice , love your Manitowoc videos, Im new to all this, & I learn a lot from you. I wish I could be one of your apprentice. I am working on a machine now with a Safety 1.
Loving the ice machine videos. You should make a video where you disassemble and reassemble a Scotsman. They re always fun to clean and put in condenser fan motors.
sometimes you can tell when the pumps are running slow by looking at the impeller shaft...that pump is just a unit bearing motor with an impeller on it.....good job 👍
great video. you ever have one of these little mani's start making shells of ice. it's like the thing will work great for 4-5 days and build up condensation in the ice probe. I pulled it out of a rest., set up their new one. But can't get it to run right more then about 4 days. I pulled probe and dried it and it's great. now I replaced probe and am on day three of full cubes. odd one, not weeping water from fill valve.
A few years ago, I had to do a follow up after one of our young guys could not identify a problem. It was a Mani with the pump in the back, if I recall. He didn't notice that the pump was running too slowly. A trip to United for a new pump assy and all was well.
So the water pump on ours will not kick on and make water circulate into the ice section when it is on the regular on switch. However it will kick on when you put on clean and water flows fine. The air compressor kicks on if our trip the switch behind the control board. But the harvest sequence just will not start on its own. The water filter has been changed so there is water flow. Do you have any suggestions?
I have a Scotsman SCN-60. I cleaned the machine, but there was a lot of crud( mildew, I guess) in the bin. I removed as much as I could by hand, but now the water is not being evacuated from the bin, and the pump wants to run continually. How can I access the pump and clean it?
david johnson the evap while making ice is 10-0 degrees. Ice is around 32 degrees. The temp gun I've read on shinny surfaces is not supposed to be that accurate.
Hi Dave. Got a question for you. I have an s series manitowoc ice machine that is leaking around the water pump. I replaced the o rings on the pump but it still leaks up through. Any suggestions on what might be happening? Have you encountered this before?
I would watch a 'LOT' more of your videos if you would, please sir, get rid of the porno music at the beginning and insert something more professional. I like what you do but my family thinks I'm watching "Debbie Does Dallas".

excellent video thank you for sharing!!!!
Nice find!👍😎
Enjoying your ice knowledge
Will the temp gun scan the evaporator correctly? or is it too shiny of a surface? Thought an evap temp would be much lower than 32.
