Wish there was a more recent video of the University. I can't believe their Website still links you to that 13 years old video. I'm sure the University changed/evolved quite a lot in between...
WOW! it reminds me with my visit to holland couple months ago.... unfortunately, I'm not visited delft yet... if it's just one day in TU Delft....., it would be a precious thing that I ever had!
I study aerospace engineering there. Our faculty even has his own plane at Schiphol airport, we have our own flight simulator inside the school and some other cool stuff like wind tunnels, a place where satellites can be made, we have our own aircraft hall (with plane parts and even a complete F-16 fighter jet) and a construction, production and testing facility. :-) There is an introduction movie made, its in Dutch though (search for: "lr, tudelft" and its the first hit you get).
if we really have chance to do this instership i would like to try. im already work with aircraft projects here, i'm just a mechanic but i build 3 diferent kinds of airplane in Brazil.... FK9, Sonex, Cessna
@indogrenade It is, it has a 99% chance on a job and is well known, e.g. The lunar solar challenge and other contests like that are mostly designed by Aerospace engineers.
For all incoming students, in case you are looking for a room in and around delft, you might want to try housinganywhere.com. Its got a great collection of rooms which can be booked and accessed securely :)
