The Lion and the Mouse: Old School Story
One hot afternoon, a lion lay sleeping in the forest.
Suddenly, a tiny mouse scurried across his paw, waking him up.
The lion roared in anger, trapping the mouse under his big paw.
The little mouse begged, “Please, let me go! I might be small, but one day I can help you.”
The lion laughed at the idea but decided to set the mouse free.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter's net.
The mouse heard his roars and rushed over. With his sharp teeth,
the mouse gnawed through the ropes, setting the lion free.
The lion, grateful, said, “I never thought a little mouse could help me.”
The mouse smiled and said, “Even the smallest friends can make a big difference.”
Moral: No act of kindness is ever too small, and everyone can help in their own way.
