This all sounds very good… but I’m trying to understand why a certain politician was allowed to build on a portion of this area not a small house but I heard its a horse farm… it’s a huge perfect, which some say is even responsible for the latest flooding, worst flooding of the manzanilla Mayaro only connecting road, as this reconstructing of this peace of swamp land displaced a natural water way, along with other projects that I heard is not manage properly
I am suprised that so much is known about our endangered species, yet so little is done to preserve and prevent it's desimination . It is obhorrent that we do so much land clearance in Trinidad and allow people to hunt our wild species in such a small island, with guns, smoke, spears and knives. What is worst is that these hunters have dogs that terrorise small animals . What kind of government that allows it's treasures to be so painfully removed forever from this earth? The vast amout of land clearance alone, distroy vast amount of land and air animal species. The citizens of Trinidad &Tobago should be educated to protect our wild species. It is done in many countries, even in economically destitute regions of the world. Trinidadians do not need to prey on its wild animals, it is done because we were brought up to kill everything that moves in the forest and in the air. Some of our species have been lost forever and others are on the brink .
