When I lived in T'dad..I taught a choir to compete in the "Bal Vikas".. Now I reflect...it amazes me to know I never considered teaching Yankarans music. Brings it home that WE NEVER MISSED THE WATER TILL THE WELL IS DRY...😏 But I still ENJOY THIS BRILLIANT MUSIC... THANKS FOR POSTING...I SO APPRECIATE THIS.

The Man Ustaad Ramchaitar lived at Ramlochan Street in Aranguez in 60's ,my uncle and aunt lived at 23 Fazarali street ,in the month of August i used to by them for holidays with my cousins, our home was just to the back of the singer's home ,and in late hours of the nite and the wee hours of the morning my cousin and i will up to the melodious songs of this Giant of a Man,he sounded as a nitingale, sweet and beautiful and we were children 9 to 10 yrs old ,i remember listening to him rehearsing and other singers came by him too rehearsed too.
