Thank you sir I did exactly what you said it’s running like a champ. I got a Traxxas slayer off of one of my friends he sold it to me pretty cheap only 200 bucks. He said he havent ran it in two years. I replaced the spur gear. The slipper clutch after watching your video. She fired right up cant believe how good it’s running.
You are the man dude thank you so much couldn’t get mine to start and run properly to do the break in they say it’s rt r/break in out of the box and everything was all funky I appreciate it man! Now it runs good and I can finally break mine in.
Great video, only one I have seen where they tell the exact starting position for the Low Speed Needle! I used this video earlier today to reset my Revo settings and get it running again! Worked like a charm! I only had to do some minor adjustments to lower the idle a bit, and richen the High Speed Needle half a turn, due to my 25% nitro fuel

You saved me thanks man I taught adjusting the trottel linkage will fix my high idel and overheating overall but when I slapped this setting on my t maxx it was running really crisp and clean came un clutch thank
I have a 2.5r....it sat for over like 10 years. It will run but im thinking the rings are bad on the piston.. onky runs for about 10mins and than replace glow plug.. think its junk or need better tuning? Freaking glow plugs are to much for 10mins
I blew my first plug barely running it still new finally got it to shift if this video and one other but now I think I'm a bit rich or lean not sure assuming to much fuel cuz I got alot of drips that come from exhaust drips not alot but not sure what's best
This video will help me out when I get a 3.3 engine but I have a question can you please make a video on tuning a .15 and the .18 and .16 and I think there’s a .15 sh engine I bought a nitro stampede vintage four or five years ago and could never keep it running so it just sits on the shelf and I don’t know how to turn it but. If you could make them videos on tuning them engines that would help me a lot thanks
@@rcusa201 I'm sorry. Never mind. I found out the model Revo I have, has a recharge port at the bottom of the frame. I have to order a charging cord to charge my Revo so that the receiver will control the wheels. If that makes any sense at all to you, I'm just getting into this hobby
Good fuel, good glow plug, and a good carb setup (needle base settings to start, no air leaks, etc) it’ll start every time. Set idle gap and turn low speed to achieve idle.

Put a mark on the screw, makes life easier.
What is the throttle and brake servo you running I see there different ones in different revo's

How do I know when the idle gap is .7- 1.0 mm gap

I though i.cooked my engine here the bearings lock up in the clutch bell burnt up 2 clutches
I got a new 3.3 engine the low speed was at 1.5 factory.
