I recently started my One Shot run and got one question: is there anything i can lock myself out of by running too far? Or can i collect these items in any order?
So once I go through the dlc in one shot. Can I go through the rest of the older maps and get missing items? Does difficulty matter in one shot mode?

If you do the dlc with a new character, does the items you get go over to your main character, like account bond. ?
nope, it's why you need 2 people for the one shot re-roll to work
He said u can listen to that guy in the begining with the academic set u get from the sewers im lost what is the academic set and what do u get differently from the guy at the end of speech
academic set was just something people could do if they had it. you'll get the same result with zealot and it's much easier to get. Once you do get it just roll an Awakened king adventure sometime and listen to the dock dude's speech while wearing the zealot armor set.
I would recommend putting sections into these longer videos just to make it easier to find specific items people might be missing, other than that great vid as always dough man 👍

Unless he meant alchemist and whats the difference in item drop from the speech then ?
zealot/alchemist armor makes it so you can listen to the dudes speech and he'll give a ring that increases status damage by 25% but reduces duration of status's by 65%. Pretty sure you can still fight him after the speech is over and you get the ring and still get the mutator.
Hi I have a question I’m doing my one shot and the dlc solo I had to fight the speech guy for the dreadful mutator if I reroll the awakened king adventure mode and put on the zealot armour on will I get the ring? Or do I have to have a friend. Hopefully you will be able to reply thank you and have a happy holidays.
The Preacher always spawns when Forlorn Coast rolls. So if you need the ring, you can get it on adventure.
Thank you so much for replying. I beat the dlc last night so I rerolled it put on the armor and listened to the whole speech then chatted with him and got the ring.
Talked to the guy on the bridge but got attacked by flyers from below so didnt get the ring
