I will say this as a fan of both secular and Christian rap, It seems to me there are a handful of Christian rappers that emulate
Or Sound very similar to Main stream rappers opposed to sounding like themselves. And this is just my opinion.
I love this podcast so much don’t know if you will see this I am Christian artist that wants to dive in a pop /CHH scene and any advice kinda like inviting pop artists that are Christian and CHH artists that are independent and advice on how to navigate the business
Yes. Christian rap has its own lane. But some Christian rapper is showing up in secular music and media!!!
There's something DJ B Plus (part of Holy Culture Radio) says about what Christian Hip-Hop is about which I agree with completely. He says it entertains, edifies, and encourages (hopefully I haven't misquoted him). There are some artists in the space who only entertain, others only edify, and others only encourage. There are also artists who combine all those "themes. So dependent on what you prefer as a listener, you can always pick whichever artist you want.
