hey mate just recently got back into fishing, could you tell me what fly rod and reel that is? been using the new stradic 1000 and a tcurve premium 1-3kg for ajing at sundale and the southport pier and i noticed guys catching yakka, tailor etc on a fly rod.
Haha nah it’s only a 1-3kg rapala maxwell with a 1000 Shimano Stradic. Hold on tailor good but the biggest I used it for is Trevs, still landed some 50 model GT but no way of getting them out. It’s kinda a if it gets me in it gets me in sorts thing, check out some of the Trevally videos and you’ll see it in action.
@@nadircicek5291 I’m not too sure where to get these ones, I was given them, but any micro jig works. It’s just the way the twitch around, Gomoku make some good ones but if you go into bcf you can get small jigs, if not then get a small spoon and put an assist hook on it. Just ask the guys in there and they’ll hook you up

That rod is a rapala maxwell 1-3kg, mainline is 5lb platinum platypus braid with 10lb platypus mono leader
