This type of song doesnt usually click to me, it's the type of song u find in melfest or mgp that gets forgotten easily and always nq, but idk this time i like this so much, Saba's voice is great and the performance was so good, they have some things to work on until May but i have hopes that Denmark might get a decent result this year!! 🤞
The interesting thing is that the people only voted it as number 3 and the people had Basim´s song "Johnny" as the winner. I also voted for Basim, but also because he was a friend of me when I lived in Copenhagen a few years ago (a very nice guy!). But Saba´s Sand won because the jury had is as a clear winner. You are right that this is not a typical "boring" Danish song. In fact the producer of this song is....Swedish! This maybe explains why it doesn´t sound as a typical Danish song.... I am Danish (event hat my nick is Italian...JuventinoDOC...because I am a Juve-fan) and I have to say that this song is far better than the songs we had the past 3-4 years that were all pretty boring and bad. This year I am convinced that Denmark will reach the final and mayben even get a Top 5-10 there. Your country, Italy, also has an interesting song with "La Noia". I personally had prefered to see Loredana Berté with "Pazza" at Eurovision, but "La Noia" is also a good song...not quite so BORING as the title suggests ;)

Probably on of the best Danish entry in Eurovision in the period 2010-2024 after Rasmussen-Higher Ground and Emmelie De Forest-Only Teardrops
