My 3 year old( almost 4) watched this as it was played in our church this morning. He then asked me if Jesus lived in his heart. I asked him if he wanted him to live there. He said "yes, mommy". So I told him he had to ask him to live there. So he said, "Jesus, will you live in my heart?" What an amazing moment for me. We've been reading about the Christmas story each day of December, it's a tradition. I had no idea he paid attention. Is this the coming to God as a child moment, or what! Of course then he went onto being a bratty 3 year old, lol. But the seed has been planted. No one can snatch him from the Lord's hands now!
Towards the end I broke. I’m speechless. This song is Wonderful. He went through all of that getting beaten and hung on a cross. Nails through his hands. This is so hard to watch. He did all that for us. Makes me feel so spoiled and special at the same time. I get to be saved because of what he did. ❤️
I couldn't imagine having Him as my child. Knowing that he came to rescue our souls. My heart breaks as a parent. To know that God himself came to die. To cleanse us from our sin. What a glorious gift! No gift could ever compare. Thank-you for posting.
I agree with Christy. The thought of lambs being born to sacrifice for their sins of the Israelites. Then comes Jesus the Lamb of God born to die and rescue us from our sins. Thank you Lord!!! Thank you for sharing, Bob!
When I'm having a bad day during the Christmas season, this is my "go to " song for inspiration. Thank you Jesus for coming Here With Us. And thank you Joy for the beautiful voice and work of art that praises our Savior. I enjoy reading all the others comments. This is so uplifting and encouraging. May God bless you all this Christmas Season.
This song combined with the scene from Jesus of Nazareth makes me sob every time I watch it. Tears just stream down my face and I have to wonder, what have we done? I'm just so cleansed when I watch it, and I remember what really matters and what he did for us.
The composition of the video, the haunting melody, the absolutely chilling lyrics… still the most powerful line I’ve ever heard: how His ears have heard an angel’s symphony, but still Mary had to rock her Savior to sleep.
God, I pray You would draw all men to yourself. Please use this hard time (2020) to draw more people into your kingdom. I’m so grateful for you, Lord! Happy Birthday! (Dec, 25 2020)
It's still a mystery to me That the hands of God could be so small, How tiny fingers reaching in the night Were the very hands that measured the sky Chorus Hallelujah, hallelujah Heaven's love reaching down to save the world Hallelujah, hallelujah Son of God, Servant King, You're here with us You're here with us Verse 2 It's still a mystery to me, oh, How His infant eyes have seen the dawn of time How His ears have heard an angel's symphony, But still Mary had to rock her Savior to sleep Chorus Hallelujah, hallelujah Heaven's love reaching down to save the world Hallelujah, hallelujah Son of God, Servant King Here with us You're here with us (Ohh, mmm, here with us) Bridge Jesus the Christ, born in Bethlehem A baby born to save, to save the souls of man Chorus (2x) Hallelujah, hallelujah Heaven's love reaching down to save the world Hallelujah, hallelujah Son of God, Servant King You're here with us You're here with us
What a blessing - this song with this video!!! HALLELUJAH! Everytime I think of what Jesus Christ endured for us, willingly - my heart is overwhelmed at His love!!! Thank you sweet Jesus, I love you so much! While we were His enemies He died for us!
Every Christmas Eve, my tradition is to watch this movie, The Nativity, with my sister and brother-in-law, after our Christmas Eve Service. We love this movie. Thank you for putting it with such a beautiful song, and showing why Christ came to earth. The crucifixion had me in tears.
I cry every. Single. Time I hear this song. And it's not even just the song. When it gets to the part where it shows them physically putting the nails in his hands I just start bawling bc the actor portrayal might have well been his facial expression when it actually happened. Just the sheer amount of suffering that is on his face is heart breaking. Sometimes when I read the Bible it's so hard to picture Jesus having human emotions but any movie that does something like this reminds me that he did.
MrGibsonization, thank you for viewing and for your comment. I contemplated NOT using the crucifixion scene and I still second guess the choice. However, in addition to trying to get that paradox (birth/death of Jesus) across, I was trying to get viewers to "feel" as much as possible while watching the video, so I decided to leave it in. Also, at the end of the video, I reverted back to the nativity scene, so the ending would be more calming and, hopefully, uplifting.
Austin Denotter As a believer, I totally agree, my friend. My only reason for writing that two years ago was because I have friends who consider Jesus to be like any other religious martyr: Living a good life and dying for His cause. However, Christ is so much more than that. His mission transcends even the cross and the tomb, because He literally overcame death. Without that act, there'd be no point to everything else that he did. No other "martyr" has done that. And that is why we worship Him instead of merely honoring Him: He is our Savior, our Redeemer, the Son of God. Beautiful video.
This song gets me everytime. I'm currently struggling as a Christian man. I consistently promise God that change is coming for myself but I never have the will power to follow through. My sins are seen as normal to some, but to me it's the ultimate betrayal when you make promise after promise to change, and I just need someone absolutely anyone to help me and pray for me. I've accepted our Lord and Heavenly Father, but to me, I want so badly to follow a life as a devout Christian. Until then guys have yourself a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Great video!
+Look2TheSky101 I know how you feel. I am having the same struggle, making promises to the Lord, saying that a change will happen, but I still haven't done it yet. I will keep you in my prayers also. :)
Joy McCreary Thank you means much more than you will ever know. I pray for myself and especially people like you. I'll continue to pray for you as well, thank you so much!
Look2TheSky101 stop making those promises and just admit you can't save yourself or change your sinful ways. That's what he went to the cross for. God bless and I will pray for you
Look2TheSky101 stop making those promises and just admit you can't save yourself or change your sinful ways. That's what he went to the cross for. God bless and I will pray for you
I'm glad to find this beautiful song to sing for a Christmas Eve service in a retirement home. The pastors theme is Emmanuel, God With Us. This sounds perfect.
This song makes me cry every time I hear it. Years ago, I did a dance to this song at church for our New Year's Eve Watch service. Such a powerful song. Thank you for sharing your video with us! :)
Amen such a beautiful song about the greatest man wh ok ever walked the earth. About the day that the word became flesh! Glory hallelujah! Merry Christmas to all
About 8 years ago, the ballet troupe at my former church did this song in song as part of s Christmas ballet,I was given the honor to direct the recoding. So hard to do with tears in your eyes and a catch in your voice
Where can I get this video....I would like to use it on the screens for Christmas eve while I do interpretive dance to it.........please advise..................s
Can't hardly imagine what it was like to look upon Jesus in that manger that night. If I could go back in time to anywhere, that would be the only choice for me. Mind boggling.
About 1o years ago the church I attended did a ballet interpretation of the Christmas story, I was asked to direct the taping, when this song and the dance that came with it were on I was in tears, ha4d to direct when your eyes are filled with tears and voice crack8ny
Ya que cada día de nuestra peregrinación recordamos quienes hemos venido a ser y el Por que, este himno nos transporta al momento que la pura esencia del Amor se hizo Visible.
Jesus is with us now in our hearts. Even when we don't feel him he is there. Jesus loves everyone he gave the testimony that he died for our sins and defeated death that we may live with him forever. No matter how you feel or how far you have gone Jesus is there and ready for you to invite him in. Ask Jesus to work in your life and he will show up. Jesus came to save the world. Hope that helps someone out there!
One of our biggest challenges as Humans is to experience God in the Human Church. For in our Church we Humans cannot help to show faults and decry those that fall in the Church today. The interesting things is- its not about us, its about worshipping God. We Humans will continuously and always get it wrong. This song reminds us He is about something much bigger- something we must daily strive for. Perfect and complete love.
Very touching! The wise men actually presented their gifts to Jesus when He was about two years old, not in the manger. It would have been nice if at the end of this video, they would have shown His ressurection. That is the most important part, that brings our salvation.
What a beautiful and touching song. I had never heard it before until a young lady in our church performed it on Christmas Eve and she would have even made our Lord and Savior proud.......thank you for posting this song/video. Wonderful and Amazing. Merry Christmas...and remember JESUS is the reason for the season!!
about 6 yrs ago this song was one of many in a ballet presentation of the Christmas story. I was on my church's video team and given the honor of directing it's video recording. it is so hard to direct video when your eyes are teary and voice is cracking Happened all 4 times
Bob Barry--I definitely agree with your including the crucifixion. It's very powerful. I just think a small snippet signifying His resurrection would've displayed a powerful reminder of one if the primary reasons why Christ sacrificed Himself. But regardless, I think your video of this song is by far the most inspiring and revering. Thank you, and merry Christmas!
Mr. Barry, did you use scenes from an actual movie for this? I think your choice of scenery is perfect, regardless if you second guessed it or not. We know our Lord is risen. It's contemplative of a beautiful beginning of The Son of Man and The Beginning of HIS Church here on earth.
Thank you for viewing, Jeyisms. For the birth of Jesus I used scenes from the 2006 movie, The Nativity Story. For the crucifixion I used scenes from the 1977 TV miniseries, Jesus Of Nazareth.
Wow Thank you so much for this most amazing most beautiful song and video. I broke my back a bit ago and its been so hard and a long hard road to recovery, but I learned that in my weakness God is made strong and He has given me strength I didnt know I had. When I woke up today I was hurting, but when I seen my LORD carrying His cross and hanging there for me it made the pain stop. It broke me and brought me to my knees and I just wept. He went through so much pain for us. and that strengthened me and renewed my hope. Thank you God Bless.
would you mind emailing me the video you created for this so i could sing a song to it at church? it works out perfectly for the song. if so my email is photoessentials @aol .com without the spaces. thank you so much!

This song is just so amazing (and pair that with the crucifixion scene near the end), and it makes you want to just worship Him (and cry).
The line about Mary rocking her Savior to sleep does me in every time.
@@jenbutler588 Oh my goodness. Same here. Every time.
Absolutely...me too!🥲
What an amazingly powerful song. You can't help but to get emotional every time you hear it...
Miguel Espinosa I always cry when hearing this
Wow... what a video!
This is by far one of the most beautiful Christmas AND Easter songs I've ever heard. Brings tears if overwhelming Joy every time I hear it.

Amazing
I agree! The line that gets to me is "tiny hands reaching in the night were the very ones that measured the sky."
God, I pray You would draw all men to yourself. Please use this hard time (2020) to draw more people into your kingdom. I’m so grateful for you, Lord! Happy Birthday! (Dec, 25 2020)
This video has touched my heart. I pray that the Lord continues to use you to bring glory to His Holy Name.
It's still a mystery to me
That the hands of God could be so small,
How tiny fingers reaching in the night
Were the very hands that measured the sky
Chorus
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Heaven's love reaching down to save the world
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Son of God, Servant King,
You're here with us
You're here with us
Verse 2
It's still a mystery to me, oh,
How His infant eyes have seen the dawn of time
How His ears have heard an angel's symphony,
But still Mary had to rock her Savior to sleep
Chorus
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Heaven's love reaching down to save the world
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Son of God, Servant King
Here with us
You're here with us
(Ohh, mmm, here with us)
Bridge
Jesus the Christ, born in Bethlehem
A baby born to save, to save the souls of man
Chorus (2x)
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Heaven's love reaching down to save the world
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Son of God, Servant King
You're here with us
You're here with us
What a blessing - this song with this video!!! HALLELUJAH! Everytime I think of what Jesus Christ endured for us, willingly - my heart is overwhelmed at His love!!! Thank you sweet Jesus, I love you so much! While we were His enemies He died for us!
Every time I hear this song... I fall apart... and Iam so glad to! Our Lord loves us
So very Much!
