I almost hate to say this because I support artwork in the city. Especially that stencil art I've seen around lately. It adds to the culture and flavor of the city but how could you do that to that peaceful wooded area? It's loud and disturbing in a peaceful setting. It's downright ugly.
So you have a problem with him adding color and aesthetic to a wall, but see no problem with the atrocious wall being erected there in the first place? Humans constantly disrupt nature...graffiti disturbs that disruption.

They actually make these creeks and landslide barriers/retaining walls look better than the aged rotting and/or stained walls that are underneath layers of paint. It's not an eyesore and you grouping shitty stencils with graffiti shows how little you know of the topic in the first place.
