    This turned out stunning! Like you, I live in a war climate (Florida, USA) and we wear tank tops just about all year round. This would make terrific Christmas gifts! Thank you.

    You could use pixie spray to hold your stencil down then just pull it off in one go :) love these shirts :)

    Uhh….I can feel shirt painting 'infection' creeping on. I love what you've done! And now off to see if I can get hold of some of those paints..

    Wow, all of your shirts have turned out so well! I wonder if you can do a pour on a tee with these paints or if it would just be too much paint for the fabric?

    • @DebyatMixedMediaArts
      @DebyatMixedMediaArts  Рік тому

      I think that would be too much probably. There would be so much paint that I'd expect it to dry more plastic like. Lovely idea though. If you try it please let us know.

    is that paint flexible when it finishes drying two days? because with that I will use it for the spiderweb for the Spiderman suit, I will wait for your answer.

    • @DebyatMixedMediaArts
      @DebyatMixedMediaArts  Рік тому

      Yes its perfectly flexible. Barely changes the feel of the fabric at all. Of course it you put on a lot of layers it will be thicker and end up with a more plastic feeling perhaps, but I think it would be perfect for a costume. Good luck. You can get the paints here amzn.to/2CHqkLa

      So I have to draw the spiderwebs like two times or three times?

      @@DebyatMixedMediaArts I have a bad feeling because I have never used that material and I feel that it is going to break

      @@mr.foxydelterror266 Only if you want to. My colors came out lovely and bright after one coat. It will depend on what fabric you are using and how thickly you put the paint. I suggest buying a bottle and giving it a try on a scrap piece of your fabric, or on and inside seam, and see what you think.

    Deby, I know this is off topic, however, I need your input. How so you clean acrylic on glazed tile before applying resin??? Nothing I have done does not compromise the paint and cause damage. Please help. Thanks so much...

    • @DebyColes
      @DebyColes 5 років тому

      You have to be careful on tile or too much moisture can cause the paint to soften and lift. So I use the minimal amount of oil to start with, so there is less to clean. Then get rid of all the oil with lots of baby powder, brush off with a soft towel. Then you'll get the best result with resin if you seal it first with varnish. So give it a good coat with say the polycrylic. If that goes on OK without any separating then you know the resin will be good too.

      I usually order everything from Amazon as we don't have arts and crafts supplies available here on the island. The Deco Art So Soft fabric paints are here - amzn.to/3jRXLzx
      They do them in glitters, neons and metallics too!

    Do you mix the sosoft with fabric medium?

    • @DebyatMixedMediaArts
      @DebyatMixedMediaArts  Рік тому

      No, there is no need to mix the paint with anything. It is specially formulated to work on fabrics and is used straight out of the bottle, as is.
