All of this is SO over my head lol, but I do enjoy to watch. You're a very smart guy and your terrariums are bad a$$ 😊

@@alternateaquatics yes, I'm feeling all this out as my son has been wanting to one for a while, so kinda learning. Not only that, it is just all really neat. You're must welcome! Thank you for the Uploads! 😀

Oh I’m so excited for you two! I remember when I first stumbled on the hobby and it has been by far one of my most rewarding experiences building these little ecosystems!
Probably my favorite part of building these terrariums is that the maintenance is actually really low! If you do the hard work up front and set them up right you only need to mist them and occasionally trim the plants

The first Terrarium you featured right at the begging of the video, Which one is that? Do you have build guide for it?

That’s my newest build, my vampire crab paludarium! I’m waiting for the crabs to ship here in a few days and then I want to get some good footage of them before I drop that build video!

This is a great video with very important insights! If I could give one advice it would be to lower the music volume or remove it completely especially in these videos where you spend most of the time speaking.
    Thank you!

Nice vid. I've used dragon stone in aquascaping and you really need to rinse two or three times if not more as it is loaded with sediments. Have you tried adding the coco/sphagnum mix to the great stuff before it cures. I've seen some people doing it and if it works it would cut down on the silicone cure time and smell.

Hey thanks for the comment! Yes I should have mentioned the dragon stone usually comes with clay in the holes. I like to use a wire brush and piece of metal wire and I usually take a few hours to clean it. If you have a yard and a power washed I’m sure that would work nicely!
I’ll have to try to putting the coco fibers directly into the spray foam some time! I guess the only downside to that I can see is that you can’t rlly shape the background as much that way since it expands when it cures?

What’s the small rock you held up that’s holy? Great vid by the way. Thanks
