The University of South Dakota conducted a study some years back on the effects of Dried Distillers Grain (DDG) on cattle. They said that they bought a handful of commercial steers in the 700 weight. They supplemented them with DDG until they reached harvest weight. Everyone of them graded prime across the board. I started incorporating DDG into our farm to fork beef business and found the same results. Even the cattle with ear hit choice plus or better. I have not tried these cubes but in drought you can bet I'm going to look into it.
