I may be 7 years late to the party, but these guides are really helpful, I tried the game before watching your guides & felt it wasn't accessible, but since watching your guides I've gone back & now really enjoy the game. So Thanks 👍🏻
It‘s great to get all these information in detail and well explained. It’s a pain in the ass to read it within the game. There are even issues with missing letters aso. The game is so much more fun if you know and use it’s mechanics.
really appreciate you taking the time to put these guides together. I've also been following your posts on the dex and it's been very informative. Hopefully your passion and effort helping the PoE community and developers get recognized and you get an offer to join the Obsidian team.
Hey just wanted to drop a line and say thanks for all your work with these. Started playing last night and I'm hooked however your vids have def helped me understand quite a bit. Very much appreciated.
There's a "Story Mode" difficulty if you don't want any challenge. You really are missing out with both games as PoE 1 and 2 are some of the best RPGs of all time.
problem is all these "Beginners" guides go far too deep & quickly turn into high level in depth min max discussions. I've watched hours of them to simply find out 5 minutes of the info I was after. And that's not to say the videos aren't good they just aren't "Beginners" guides.
Bought this game last year but still havent managed to get into it. The amount of time you have to invest taking it all in is just ridiculous. I'm sure its a great game, but I dont have the time to deal with that sort of learning curve. Then if you do start playing and mess up, re-examining the multitude of factors that affected your play and trying it over and over sounds like a recipe for frustration. Is Obsidian trolling gamers here?
You don't have to learn everything at once. For one, you can always retrain your PC and custom heroes, or you could see what the NPCs are doing to learn from them. Second, there is the manual to teach you important stats and strategies like Accuracy and the the importance of custom formations. Third, there are guides like this that do their best to equip you with what you need to know for entry. Lastly, there is the option of starting on Easy/Normal, or if you don't want to have challenge at all Story mode. You would be missing the fun of the combat, but you have the option to enjoy the game however you choose. As someone who did finish the game on POTD my third run, I never utilized potions or scrolls as much as others who exploited them, but that goes to show there is a nice skill curve for players who don't have to learn everything in order to beat the game on its hardest mode.
Good guides, tnx for that. I'm a big fan of BG and IW, so this game is a dream come true. And if your plan with these vids is to increase the chance to have more expansions and sequels to this game then I give you a very big HUG!
Amazing tutorial and guide!!! I am ashamed other gamers have downvoted this video... The game almost is completely absent of help and you explained almost everything in great detail. I've been playing PoE for several hours and was amazed to find out how much you taught me in just a few minutes.
wizards can set multiple grimoires that they will get as they play through, with different spells sets in quick items, which would allow them to change between grimoires faster during battle (would be useful in a wild range of possibilities, use your intelligence)
Really useful vid, Thanks! However, it's a bit confusing for someone new to the game, a friendly advice and some criticism if I may. You're mixing advanced game mechanics (recovery time details, special attributes/effect relations and recent changes to the game, etc.), completely obvious stuff (scrolling inventory, dialogue selection, etc.) and actual game basics and then presenting them in a somewhat confusing order. For instance, you might want to explain what status like prone implies before explaining that certain weapons induce prone when they crit. The video would also be better if you explain things in a good order, like how to attack, basic hotkeys, action queuing, before explaining different types of weapons and comparisons and all that before anything involving gameplay mechanics, and then tips and further advanced tactics after. Might even want to leave out some advanced stuff like effect/attribute/stat modifiers, and put them on a different vid or something, you either do a basics vid or you don't. You may also want to leave out obvious things like scrolling, picking up items, dialogue selection, because chances are, if someone viewing your guide needs you to explain those stuff to them, chances are they won't have any clue to whatever else you're talking about and most likely would lack the common sense and logical deduction to play the game or any rpg game for that matter anyway.
Yes I’m 7yrs late here, but your advice to him was exactly the criticism needed. This video is an excellent example of the gap between being knowledgeable enough on the subject matter to diligently teach it, vs just being self sufficient and unable to present steps. That gap applies absolutely everywhere in life and it is especially crucial in regards to most careers - yet many aren’t even aware. Can be the difference between a great mentor and a job-ruiner. There are better ways to word that, but I’m not the one posting guide videos. Sorry I went into ramble mode there. This is just a video game lol
I'm glad you mentioned seeing streamers being absolutely shredded by the engagement system. Surprisingly the streamers i've seen have been good sports about difficulty, but it was so tragic seeing them take such ridiculous amounts of unnecessary damage during large hectic battles and not even being aware of it. Truly, i'm worried that the added difficulty that people (many people i expect) who refuse to spend time learning about engagement will experience, is going to make those people shun the game because of that difficulty. Another great vid btw, i'm looking forward to seeing that high intelligence fighter build you mentioned in the character creation vid :D
***** Don't worry there is a mod that removes the disengagement attacks coming in a few days, along with a bunch of other stuff (UI options, Custom HUD art) ;) I think it's gonna be a hit.
You forgot to mention the shield once again... haha. Oh well you'll get it eventually I assume. Really informative videos, I appreciate the time and effort that goes into each one. If you ever have time to test out and find a great cipher melee dmg build with good survivability (stats and powers) a bit of cc for positioning? I'd appreciate it (also best godlike type for a cipher? I'm thinking either death godlike or moon, not sure how practical the healing aura is for moon though). I'm hesitating between a fighter and cipher for a multitude of reasons, one being the athletics bonus skill for fighters (other reasons include roleplaying dialogue choices based on stats but that ain't your jam). The bonus skills really seem to make an impact every level up. From what I saw, skills which aren't associated with your class are cost attuned with your level (An example of this would be the athletics skill for a cipher, so the cost for a 1st level skill would be one skill point, 2 skill points for 2nd level etc. So at higher levels it must get extremely unwise to spend skills that aren't class specific. Seems like it forces us in an archetype for every class. I don't want a sneaky trap/lock disabling cipher for example... Anyways if you brave this lengthy paragraph good on you and thanks for the reply, I look forward to the 4th beginner's guide video!
Do you have some thoughts about atributes? -> whats "dump" stat or maybe you will cover it in future videos. For example for dps obvious dump stat its probably con and we should max might and dex.
Why all of these videos showcase only early combat sequences? The part in which the combat really begins to duck is when you have a party of 4+ people with multiple abilities and it just becomes a huge clusterfuck. I'm sure most people can manage 2 characters with 1 skill each...
I want to love pillars of eternity so badly, on paper it is everything I want in an rpg but when I play it I just can't seem to stick with it (farthest I've ever made it is to the first little town with the big tree with all the hanged people) I'm not entirely sure WHY I can't stick with it, but I feel like the most likely reason is probably the combat, I have a hard time with party based combat that requires alot of micro management, for example I like Dragon Age (any of them really) and it uses party based combat but I don't feel like I have to constantly pay attention to everyone all the time. If anyone has any tips or advice on how I might better enjoy pillars it would be greatly appreciated.
I feel ya. I bought this years ago, and only yesterday decided it was time to try it out again. I’m not one to shy away from deep mechanics, but this game lays it on very thick and with many unspoken rules of play. This all can result in an overwhelming and frustrating approach to what is essentially a game that demands quite the opposite - patience. I think that is key. Approach the game with no urgency, and take time with the mechanics and attributes. It’s a slow burn and I know the payoff will be worth it, so I plan to press onward.
Did they change accuracy a little - I thought each character class had higher accuracy gain/level (like Rogues were very high)? If every class gets a flat +3/level that's kinda useful, since it makes things like melee priests a little more viable, I'd think. Did they do away with all formulas, like endurance/health, like that or just accuracy?
Hi Enverxis! Great video, but i hope you have the time to clarify something: At 26:33 you explain a very important mechanic: The attackresolution. However, the Ranges of those Resolution are not consistent with a post from the developers. That post said: A roll between 1-5 results in miss, 6-50 graze, 51-95 hit, 96-100 crit. Since this is so important to know, I already made posts on the forums, but got no answer till now. have you tested your resolution ranges? Did they patch them? My rookie excel damagecalculator (rofl) is worthless til i know the answer. I could not play much, since i have problems with the versions of the game so i depend on another source than me.
Could you do a video on the attack speeds and recovery times of ranged weapons and spells and how reload speeds are affected or not by things like the dex attack speed bonus? Great videos by the way.
I really like your style in these videos, also I believe thanks are in order since you seem to have made the game better through feedback during beta. I am planning on playing a druid, I know that spiritshift is not currently super useful (unless something changed since I last saw the game), but I wondered what's under the hood for spiritshift. Some info I gathered from the wiki, so it might be outdated. First off, DR 5 (8 for Bear) is that a flat 5 or an equivalent of hide armour (6 for some attacks 3 for corrode)? And does it include the reduced recovery? Attacks, do spiritshift attacks count as unarmed and/or two weapon style, considering talents (I guess the question is the same for monk, is unarmed considered two weapon style) I am mainly asking because of the peasant weapon talent, which includes unarmed. Lastly, you forgot to buy the shield from Heodan.
Wiki is super out of date. The Bear Form now has 10 DR and their claws bypass 5 DR. I think it depends on the creature, but the bears attacks are two weapons I believe. Unfortunately one of the remaining issues with the accuracy is since they are counted as a weapon, they only use your base accuracy thus are less accurate than anything else - which they need to fix in a patch. Spiritshift is better now though, but do not use it early on in a fight. I will show Shield Style in my next vid, got distracted at the shop interface.
The Larder door shield says it has 2 Bash, but after having Eder carry it around for quite some time, I've never seen it do anything. Except, now his knockdown won't work, at all. I pick it every round, of every encounter, but it still stays at 2. Anyway, is the shield bash an actual thing or what?
im interested of this game and want to buy it but, with my lap, will i enjoy the graphics enough ? : Intel Core i5 3230M 2.6 GHz Processor (3.2 Ghz Autoboost), Nvidia GT 720M, DDR3 SDRAM. Please advice me on it. Im willing to decrease all details and special effects a little bit but ... i don't want to pay 40e and then think of a new computer to buy, if You know what i mean.
How to the ranged weapon compare after the latest rebalancing? Are bows still mediocre and have arbalests been toned down a lot? or is the knockdown on them actually good?
Ranged weapons in the press build are the same as v480 except for Arbalests which now can knock enemies prone on crits. In the Day 1 patch I believe Arquebuses, Arbalests and Crossbows are being nerfed again. I don't know if he's changing War Bows, unfortunately. The knockdown on crit proc was ridiculously OP in previous builds (on magic weapons that had the property) but they may have nerfed the duration.
I'm heavily debating on making a Cipher character because they remind me a lot of old school Psionics. Do you know how the Cipher's mind control powers work? I see quite a few of them when reading through the manual and other sources but in videos people were only able to use their charm on one person at a time. If you use, say, whispers of tension and then later use, say, puppet master or ring leader, will it add to the number of charmed/dominated foes? Or switch the effects to the newest one?
Most of those spells are now pretty short duration. But they make an attack (using your accuracy) against enemy Will defense and you'll charm/dominate them for either the stated duration, half duration on a graze and 150% duration on a crit. There's some rules on afflictions in the Cyclopedia, I believe Dominate overrides charmed?
Enverxis Oh okay. Thanks for the info. So it might not be such a good idea to get literally every single power that involves charm/dominate. I'm guessing probably Might, Dex, and Intellect are the key stats for Ciphers?
For tanks I think Human (stat boost when low endurance), Moon Godlike (heals) , Fire Godlike (does fire damage to enemies when under 50% endurance), Coastal Aumaua (resistant to being knocked down) and Wood Elf (bonus deflection vs distant ranged attacks) are all pretty good.
Enverxis Why not Wild Orlan? It has bonus to both Perception and Resolve and both of them increase deflection. I also have a problem with my party composition - I've described it here: forums.obsidian.net/topic/71693-paladin-vs-priest-vs-chanter/ I'm thinking about switching my Chanter to support/dps and replacing Priest with Paladin tank but I'm not sure if party without a healer is viable on hard.
Enverxis Do you know how strong is that healing/retaliation? Without a Priest I guess healing would be the best choice but I'm not sure if it's big enough to make any difference.
Myrten They're modified by attributes and stuff I'm pretty sure so it really depends. Game comes out in like 15 hours, so you can open up the descriptions of the racial abilities in game and check em out.
Hi, I was trying to find some numerical values for weapon speed and saw your post on the official forums. >There is a global recovery time multiplier of 1.2 >default attack speed for 1H fast weapon is 20 frame animation, 36 frame recovery (50% slower due to 1H style or using a shield) >default attack speed for 1H average weapon or 2H weapon is 30 frame animation, 54 frame recovery (50% slower due to 1H style, 2H style or using a shield) Am I getting it right that a 1H (speed: average) has the same speed as a 2H (speed: slow)?
Enverxis Uhm, I am not sure that we understood each other, as I never asked about dual wielding :) What I want to find out is whether a sword/sabre (using the one-handed style) has the same attack speed as an estoc/greatsword, and what the values are if they differ. Some additional questions while we are at it: Can grazes converted to hits (say, via the 1-handed style talent) be in turn converted to crits (via bloody slaughter, for example)? What is the endurance threshold for Death's usher and bloody slaughter?
Roman Pushkov Yes it does, because 1H Average Speed and 2H weapons have the same animation length, and the same recovery penalty. Grazes converted to hits cannot be converted to crits, but they can be converted back to grazes. Bloody Slaughter is 10% (I think) and I'm not sure what Death's Usher is, might be 25% ?
No armor on Path of the Damned? Jesus fuck, i can't imagine that. I'm currently playing on PoTD and the challenge is real with armor .. no armor just seems .. stupid. Anyway, since i want to wear armor, what should i equip my rogue dual wielder with - scale or mail armor?
maybe i missed it in one of your others highly informative videos, but under what circumstances a character will suffer hp damage instead of just endurance damage?
is this stuff still viable with the white march dlc and current patch etc? I'm currently just trying to learn the combat system thoroughly as this is my first IE game! I know enough to try and get my primary tank in the fray first and support with casters etc. My main is moon godlike druid though and I'm wanting her to take damage to start her healing rings, thing is right now she's barely getting any damage really as the fighter is taking the brunt of it all. I just need to learn how to properly manage fights. I think using sneak to set up should help a lot though. My druid is using a hatchet and shield at the moment for more deflect and is supposed to be like a 2nd tank DPS sort of hybrid thing, I still haven't taken enough blows on her though to unleash the ability and I am not sure how to keep rank (formation) while fighting as once I have sent my fighter in first, I don't know how to get the others to fall in behind him, I just tend to start attacking with the others and they never go into formation again on their own, this means my fighter is usualy taking all the hits and my druid isn't getting hurt at all the ability is never coming into play.
the game has changed a lot since the dlc, it's not just a case of "minor" I guess the base mechanics will be the same, the classes are all different now though from what I have heard. You said you have played a lot of IE games... you know any that are heavy story based (rather than combat) I heard PoI was more of a combat orientated game.
not not sure if it's on steam tho. I'm really enjoying PoE, even if the system took a while to get used to. i just upped the DPS my party was putting out by getting rid of one of the buffers, did loads to help, gonna try a zerker for destroying mobs that my tank is locked into.
How about the pace of the game, the quest types? In DIV:OS there were too many dialogues, I was quite bored with it to be honest with you. Pause-combat reminds me of Dragon Age
Adem Demirdag I'd look up Baldur's Gate 2 on youtube - it will be more like that. There will be lots of dialogue, but it will be better written dialogue where you use your skills and attributes and your choice will have much more reactivity and choice and consequence than Divinity.
been playing for about 5 hours now. this is no where near BG2. it just lacks soul..can't put my finger on it. plus no companion AI? would be nice to set there default behavior
+nikotwenty i dont think anything will compare to bg2, thats pretty much what i have done recently, is run through id1, bg1-2, great fun really enjoyed them!! The only game i put close to bg2 which i loved, was nwn
Hell no I Pefer real time all day that's for sure and only reason I have not bought POE yet is because I don't know if it's real time or turn based due to comments and opinions I hear from people. For example I loved the combat in DAO is POE combat like DAO or turn based like other CRPGS of the past?
Paulo Ferreira It's real time with pause. I don't see how you wouldn't get that from the comments above. You might want to start reading comments before responding to them.
+Euclid Hallsteinn A lot of things will be, some things will be different. I have not played since the original release, but I assume that the basics are the same but some of the stats and some mechanics may have been altered and there will be new things.
@@shayondas5265 Hi Shayon, I actually didn't really like Pillars of Eternity in the end, the storyline I felt was a huge let down. The last game I really enjoyed was Expeditions Viking. I might produce content for the new Expeditions game in the future.
Heh, guess you missed the detailed bit by bit explanation of mechanics. It takes a couple years to learn actual car mechanics but by your logic it takes a couple years to fix a car. Kek Pro Dorito League Logic
Is there a beginners guide out there that is actually for beginners? I've found many videos that explain the game but they all go far too in depth which is fine if you are a pro at the game but every video I've seen just overloads on the finite details when all I want to know is the very basics. Next tutorial you do, ffs ask someone who has never played the game(s) what they need to know, not what you presume we need. your vids are great but far to indepth for a beginner. I've watched 43 minutes and I still don't have a clue about the simple actions & tactics involved in combat.........
Same here. Thought I may have become any idiot and didn't realize it (Which is still a possibility!). Ever find a beginner video like you were looking for?
Nice video. But it kinda annoys me a little when you say stuff like "i dont like getting xp from chests" and "i dont like area looting". It makes you seem like a person who complains about small things all the time.
Just so you know, you are horrible at explaining things, you take too long and over-complicate simple stuff and you constantly interupt yourself changing subjects and forget to get back on what you were saying before you get distracted.
I may be 7 years late to the party, but these guides are really helpful, I tried the game before watching your guides & felt it wasn't accessible, but since watching your guides I've gone back & now really enjoy the game. So Thanks 👍🏻

Not true, there is a separate bind for toggle highlight instead of hold.
***** Oh so there is
Likely added recently. Somethings it pays to be new and clueless. I just read through _everything_. :-p
Very detailed guide... Nice... Keep it up...
im interested of this game and want to buy it but, with my lap, will i enjoy the graphics enough ? :
Intel Core i5 3230M 2.6 GHz Processor (3.2 Ghz Autoboost), Nvidia GT 720M, DDR3 SDRAM.
Please advice me on it. Im willing to decrease all details and special effects a little bit but ... i don't want to pay 40e and then think of a new computer to buy, if You know what i mean.
thanks for the vid!!!! I don't understand a thing: when I can do another action (in combat) after the first? I would preferred the action point
just to confirm so you cant shift + left mouse to quick equip a weapon or sell something?
I'm guessing probably Might, Dex, and Intellect are the key stats for Ciphers?
yep
Enverxis Which race is better for tank? Moon godlike for special effect or Wild Orlan for stat bonuses?
For tanks I think Human (stat boost when low endurance), Moon Godlike (heals) , Fire Godlike (does fire damage to enemies when under 50% endurance), Coastal Aumaua (resistant to being knocked down) and Wood Elf (bonus deflection vs distant ranged attacks) are all pretty good.
Enverxis Why not Wild Orlan? It has bonus to both Perception and Resolve and both of them increase deflection.
I also have a problem with my party composition - I've described it here: forums.obsidian.net/topic/71693-paladin-vs-priest-vs-chanter/
I'm thinking about switching my Chanter to support/dps and replacing Priest with Paladin tank but I'm not sure if party without a healer is viable on hard.
Myrten Oh yeah sorry. I thought you meant specifically for picking passives. They are the best tanking class in that regard, yes.
>There is a global recovery time multiplier of 1.2
>default attack speed for 1H fast weapon is 20 frame animation, 36 frame recovery (50% slower due to 1H style or using a shield)
>default attack speed for 1H average weapon or 2H weapon is 30 frame animation, 54 frame recovery (50% slower due to 1H style, 2H style or using a shield)
Am I getting it right that a 1H (speed: average) has the same speed as a 2H (speed: slow)?
Yes, because the 1H weapon is not "slow" when it's being dual wielded.
Enverxis Uhm, I am not sure that we understood each other, as I never asked about dual wielding :)
What I want to find out is whether a sword/sabre (using the one-handed style) has the same attack speed as an estoc/greatsword, and what the values are if they differ.
Some additional questions while we are at it:
Can grazes converted to hits (say, via the 1-handed style talent) be in turn converted to crits (via bloody slaughter, for example)?
What is the endurance threshold for Death's usher and bloody slaughter?
Roman Pushkov Yes it does, because 1H Average Speed and 2H weapons have the same animation length, and the same recovery penalty.
Grazes converted to hits cannot be converted to crits, but they can be converted back to grazes.
Bloody Slaughter is 10% (I think) and I'm not sure what Death's Usher is, might be 25% ?
Enverxis Thank you very much, mate, appreciated :)
Sorry if this is a trivial question, but what are the green dots (generally about 5) above character heads in the combat?
Nevermind Sensuki just explained.
Thank you.
Thank You for trilogy...so far:]
Do you know if still in full game you cant find rogue/monk/barbarian npc to add to team? (npc with history/quests etc. - not tovern empty one)
No, maybe in the expansion though.
maybe i missed it in one of your others highly informative videos, but under what circumstances a character will suffer hp damage instead of just endurance damage?
None. When characters are petrified they take double endurance and x4 health damage though.
Thats 2 wolf are on hard? What difficulty do you recommend for IE engine veterans?
The prologue is super easy. Once you finish it, it gets harder. I recommend Hard.
What is the stack count amount for items?
does recovery speed effect spell casting time?
James Kelsey No, just Dexterity
You forgot to talk about weapon+shield style fyi. No biggie though :)
Yes I did. It will be in the errata in the next video.
How the hell did you learn all this stuff you know more than the devs.
No hotkey for weapon switching? I haven´t bin able to find one
Same... kind of wishing there was!
if I dual-wield an average and a fast weapon, does the fast one retain its speed or is it like two average ones?
+gotjazz84 retains its speed.
+Enverxis nice. Thanks. Misery is a nice weapon for a rogue but for the other hand there's a lot more choice amongst Sabres
is this stuff still viable with the white march dlc and current patch etc?
+Black Iron G The basics are all the same. I have not played the game since early April so I can't comment on the specific minor changes.
the game has changed a lot since the dlc, it's not just a case of "minor" I guess the base mechanics will be the same, the classes are all different now though from what I have heard.
You said you have played a lot of IE games... you know any that are heavy story based (rather than combat) I heard PoI was more of a combat orientated game.
+Black Iron G Planescape: Torment is one of the most story based games there is.
not not sure if it's on steam tho. I'm really enjoying PoE, even if the system took a while to get used to. i just upped the DPS my party was putting out by getting rid of one of the buffers, did loads to help, gonna try a zerker for destroying mobs that my tank is locked into.
Planescape is a game everyone should play if they like rpgs or games for that matter.
Is it possible to change the size of text in the combat log?
Yep, Font Scale in the options menu (I think).
This looks like an HD version of Dungeon Siege. XD
How similar or different is it to Divinity Original Sin ? Can someone who played the game can answer ?
Div:OS was turn-based. This is a real-time with pause game. The writing should be a lot better.
+Music Music You mean NWN2, right?Because NWN 1 sucks for me.
i think most of us loved the multiplayer platform on nwn 2, was brilliant!
Music Music I also think the expansion MOB is the best part of the game
What is alpha strike exactly ?
I assume it's everyone attacking a single target at once.
wait, what did you forget?
Shields, some stuff about Interrupts, Engagement Arrows ... maybe a few other things? I'm trying to think
err what is an aplha strike ?
When you open encounter with all your special attacks, hard hitting guns and stuff.
great rpg but..a real-time with pause game suck, is not fun fight in that way.
turn-based all the way imo
Hell no I Pefer real time all day that's for sure and only reason I have not bought POE yet is because I don't know if it's real time or turn based due to comments and opinions I hear from people. For example I loved the combat in DAO is POE combat like DAO or turn based like other CRPGS of the past?
Paulo Ferreira It's real time with pause. I don't see how you wouldn't get that from the comments above. You might want to start reading comments before responding to them.
Is this tutorial still relevent for the latest version of the game?
+Euclid Hallsteinn A lot of things will be, some things will be different. I have not played since the original release, but I assume that the basics are the same but some of the stats and some mechanics may have been altered and there will be new things.
As of right now it's 98% relevant. There has been just a few slight changes like accuracy and such. Checking the update descriptions will help.
@@Enverxis why have u stopped making videos?
@@shayondas5265 Hi Shayon, I actually didn't really like Pillars of Eternity in the end, the storyline I felt was a huge let down. The last game I really enjoyed was Expeditions Viking. I might produce content for the new Expeditions game in the future.
Wow, it takes 30 minutes to kill two wolves. Imagine what the end boss will be like.
True mlg dorito league pro hardcore.
Heh, guess you missed the detailed bit by bit explanation of mechanics. It takes a couple years to learn actual car mechanics but by your logic it takes a couple years to fix a car. Kek Pro Dorito League Logic
OH GAWD, real time with pause, lol. That's the thing I hated about Baldur's Gate.
stuff doesn't stack..pretty unintuitive at first
way too much detail for beginners. script your points, stick to the script, and save "recovery time" for advanced vids.
Hi
Christ, dude! You should stick to advanced guides. I'm guessing you've scared quite a few people off from playing this game.
I guess you haven't got much at school, have you
Nice video. But it kinda annoys me a little when you say stuff like "i dont like getting xp from chests" and "i dont like area looting". It makes you seem like a person who complains about small things all the time.
29:30 Mmmmm
Just so you know, you are horrible at explaining things, you take too long and over-complicate simple stuff and you constantly interupt yourself changing subjects and forget to get back on what you were saying before you get distracted.
So game paused and you talking = gameplay
People actually consider this fun?
Watching videos about mechanics? Nah, just learning how to play the game, putting those mechanics to use is where the fun is.
ummmm
This guy is so painful to listen to
