Listening to her sing I often find myself being amazed that English isn't her first language because she has so much command of emoting the English lyrics. I presume she spends her days speaking Norwegian with her family. I'd really love it if she'd throw an occasional Norwegian verse in her songs, even though I don't speak Norwegian.
The family is really interesting, language wise. Her maternal grandmother (mormor) speaks Persian, Japanese, Norwegian and English, her mother and uncle the same 4 languages too, her father speaks at least Swedish and English. Angelina probably switches between at least three of these without sometimes even knowing it. I am fluent in two, and I honestly sometimes have to stop and rewind my sentences in my head!
