    It's okay to have a differing opinion, but I'll never understand why some people insist on berating those who build these kinds of machines. Our current understanding of physics says these machines are impossible, but so what? At least these guys trying to build magnetic motors are actually creating something. And they're far from being "idiots", as evidenced by the amount of work they put into their projects. In fact, they have a greater chance at discovery and innovation, and possibly making their own mark on the world (even if they never prove current physics wrong).
    What are you other guys doing? You naysayers. Besides insulting people to prove us all how smart you are, that is.

    • @yapdog

      Actually, it may mean that they don't have enough confidence in their own smarts. It's like those who say they are devoutly religious, and to prove it they'll tell you all the reasons you'll burn in hell. Living by example is the best path; we should be smart by sharing what we know, not by bashing others to *prove* how smart we are. Anyway, enough of my sermon.
      Like many, I may not believe magnetic motors are possible, but I'm hoping to someday be proven wrong. In any case, I'm very impressed with your build and hope that you're one of those who'll prove us all wrong. Good luck! :^)

      Yes, these types of roads are very lonely and same here...everything i've done so far was with my own funds, blood and sweat...lol
      These machines can work, it is just a matter of time when the whole world will have these...
      People are very boxed in if i may say so...people in general rather go with what the masses say than to make their own minds...
      Most people want to be part of the majority for whatever reasons...
      "Being Autistic has held me back in life but at the same time I have the gift of creating new things to benefit everyone."
      This sentence says a lot, autistic people have a very different view of the worldly things compared to other people...
      Not only a different view but many times they have qualities that excel any other person...;-)
      And like you wrote, it did hold you back but at the same time you have that great gift of creating new stuff to benefit everyone...^^
      Do keep it up and believe in your own capabilities...^^

    I have nothing but praise for these experimenters. If something has been done, why repeat it !! It is when you do something new, what “they” say can’t be done, but you find a way to make it work, that is innovation and it’s how new ideas are formed. Keep up the good work. It’s the naysayers that never accomplish anything of value.

    Beautiful !! when People although they are not that naturally gifted as Tesla was, are trying to think and to invest their time in inventive projects. The most I admire is their persistence to understand find out how things function and to achieve some goal Above all to share their ideas, way of thinking with others and to make a contribution on a collective growth.. Even their projects are maybe not perfect it may inspire others to finish or change few things on this project for the final development of something worth full. My respekt to all who are trying working on their ideas.. projects ...''Against All Odds''

    Building projects are fun as long as they don't make you bankrupt. ;-) I don't know what your plans are for this but if you are trying to make this run as a closed system where it powers itself, unfortunately, it cannot due to looses which causes the efficiency to be under 100%. In order for a motor to run in a closed system, efficiency must be 100% and if you want to run a load from the motor, the efficiency must be greater than100%. You probably realized that by now. Keep having fun.

    My opinion is, if we can create a magnetic motor that runs for even half a year without reset, that is a groundbreaking design. Imagine having monetarily free energy year round, and only having to reset your generator twice a year. Will perpetual motion ever be an infinite loop? I believe it is possible. The laws of physics declare it is impossible due mainly to air and surface frictions. But, these laws of physics were written not so long ago, and there is much time in the future for discovery. Great theorists have been proven wrong. And the reason many people continue to be persistent in their arguments that it cannot be done, is because they want to be proven wrong. Being proven wrong would rewrite, or write a new, law of physics, and that is an exciting discovery for everyone who understands and tests them.

      It's a nice hobby to build such devices, and by no means I advise you to stop doing it. But you should be aware, that you can't discover anything in this field which isn't known by electrical engineers since a long time.

    • @MythologicalLoneLion
      @MythologicalLoneLion 8 років тому +3

      Thanks for your concern about "you can't discover anything in this field"...^^
      I don't agree with you here "which is a good thing" since what we know untill now is only what we have discover untill now and what the future holds(which is much much more) isn't know yet and we can only get to know that by trying out all kinds of crazy/weird/stupid stuff...lol
      But i can tell you this much that when the time comes that we can use the electricity produced by a generator without having to add extra energy into the drive side of it and have way more energy output production than input energy usage ...it would be like a creating a warp hole into space it self...;-)
      And no worries, i am not thinking of stopping with these builds...^^

    • @durchblick6886
      @durchblick6886 8 років тому +2

      Mister Caribbean Roots
      In the field of electromagnetism you should be aware, that Mr. Maxwell has given us equations describing all possible arrangements. Just as you won't find an exception for the law of the lever, you will not find an exception of Maxwells laws. Surely not in the realm of macrocosmos, like big magnets and coils.
      And it will be even harder to find an exception of conservation of energy. About 100 years ago a Ms Noether has given proof, that our universe could not be stable without this principle. This is strong stuff.
      I think it possible that new and surprising energy technologies may be found in the future. But not by tinkering with magnets and coils.
      Good luck.

      "Where there is believe there will be hope and vice versa and so there will be opportunities for us"...^^

    ..nice job MCR...keep it up...its a new way of utilizing un-used magnet, tho your generating core is a bit overkill but it looks cool, i love it.... I see that we can hook up several copper core all over the diameter, series the wiring and achieve higher voltages...being said that, this magneto core can be driven easily by smaller lower voltage motor that derive the power from the conductive core that wired to a small battery or capacitor as a storage...a simple regulator should work fine for the mini motor, there we should have an independent continuity rotation of the magneto core...try it, good luck.

    I always color coat when messing with magnets so i don't get confused. Have you ever seen a permanent magnet you can turn off and on? If 2 north or 2 south poles are facing the same direction with a piece of steel connected to them it will still remain magnetized but if one is north and one is south it will cancel the magnet out from the side that has the steel on it

    Mister Caribbean Roots - I have two comments
    1. I think you stated your case very badly. I have been reading through the comments, and it seems that most people thought you were trying to make a "free energy" machine - probably because the appearence of your machine is so much like other "free energy" machines on UA-cam. It seems, however, that you don't believe in free energy (other than as a money-making con), and that all that interests to produce, or cancel, a magnetic field. Your video should have stated more clearly what your goals were.
    2. At 2:54 you say that it produces "massive amounts of energy". No it doesn't. If it was producing a lot of energy, it would stop the wheel almost immediately - and this is one of the points that probably made a lot of people think your project was all about producing energy. Try replacing the LED and resistor with a short-circuit, and you will see how quickly the wheel will come to a stop. LEDs take very little energy. My mouse has a single AA cell in it, and its LED flashes continually for several months, day and night.

    • @MythologicalLoneLion
      @MythologicalLoneLion 6 років тому +1

      Thanks for your comment and it does seems like most people think this setup is about "free energy" but is nothing more than a test rotor i've build ;)

    LEDs consume very small power (in terms of microwatts) that you can light them with slight movements of kid's shoes or dead batteries or salt water solutions. Using huge magnets to light LEDs is like killing a fly with a sledge hammer.

      +Mister V2DAY - Producing electricity from magnetism is a very old invention. Electricity is generated from tiny magnets in microphones, phonograph pick-ups, guitar pick-ups, etc. Higher power is obtained from bicycle generators and hand crank generators for radios during WW2 and in 3rd world countries for running transistor radios. So, you see, you are reinventing the wheel.

    Newtons 3rd Law states: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Therefore any magnetic object that is brought into a magnetic field, will require the same amount of work to bring it into the field as that produced by the repulsion or attraction of the field. Also all systems lose energy. This is why there can never be perpetual motion in a permanent magnetic motor. Cool design though.

      Alex Albrecht I think it would depend on your interpretation of what an equal and opposite reaction would be and also the ability to unlock the vast potential energy around us that were the input is relatively small compared to the usable output for our needs. For example I think the relatively small amount of materials that go into a nuclear bomb creates a extremely huge amount of energy when it detonates. The potential was always there, it just took ingenuity and experimentation to figure out how to release it. For all intensive purposes the our Sun is perpetually releasing huge amounts of energy and we put absolutely nothing into that system. It's calculated that it will eventually die but it has sustained us for the entirety of mankind and will continue to do so well after we (you and me) are gone.
      It is only by constantly testing assumptions and hypothesis that we keep science true.

      Currently reworking with eva foam and pvc pipes.. Working out SLIGHTLY better but proof of concept is coming along nicely. There was no way to control how fast it was going and it essentially ripped itself apart. Hopefully I can make some kind of ball bearing system to both limit and help that speed problem

    • @MythologicalLoneLion
      @MythologicalLoneLion 7 років тому

      Foam and pvc pipes are good stuff also...^^
      Maybe bend some iron/steel wires into the structure so it can be even more stable and can handle whatever speed it is doing...???
      Your doing great so keep at it but watch out for high speed moving parts...i've seen a few of mine complete blown apart when centrifugal force takes the center stage...lol

    No idea what you are trying to do. If you cancel the field, then no power output. If you are just magnifying the field, the counter torque from emf of coils also higher and more power will be output, knowledge of 200 years so nothing new. If you want to REDUCE counter torque, put magnets at perimeter and coils in centre, 38% reduction in emf as it is acting at a distance from centre, the further the force from the centre the lower it gets therefore higher rpm a higher power output. Power = strength of field x rpm x number of coils x number of windings in coil. I have tried everything to reduce counter torque, moving coils to centre is only thing that makes a difference.

    ok, you had the magnets in a way where they were fighting each other so there was hardly a magnetic pull, basic physics stuff they teach you at public school and then you "fixed" it by reversing it. the the LED part, you dont need a lot if power to light up an LED, what you got there is nothing more than a dynamo, or an electric generator en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamo
