It was 1980 and I was twenty three when first I heard this song. I found this amazing album in a shop in Bristol. The first thing I did when I got home was put it on the turntable. Lets just say it was several days until this song finally left my head. Hearing it tonight through the laptop seems like being reunited with an old friend. Love this song!

One of my favorites. Aside from the beautiful melody, lyrics suggesting strife and emotions, but also interesting coordination between the prominent bass line and the vibraphone. That mid section from 2:10 to about 2:50 is really kind of striking Simon said that some sections of the music were inspired by Bach. I would love to hear him elaborate more on that !
I hope I never get sick of this song.

One of my absolute favorites on this record, this and Paba Hobo. Such a sweet melody, lyrics about stress in everyday life, and these awesome rhythmics!

Heard it on just on a transistor radio on its release in the UK and wow start of a 52 year thing with this song, which continues to this day-many other songs come and go but not this one and a few others!
