I had the same exact steering wheel for my 1973 96 V4 I bought in 86 while in college. It was a time when people were wearing Jean jackets here in the States in New England, and the buttons on the cuffs of my jacket would occasionally get stuck in the center groove of the stering wheel spokes...especially when I was backing up. I always had to roll up my sleeves when driving the car. The steering wheel was a gift from my Uncle who had saved it from one of his 93s.
Sounds like my wife's Kawasaki triple, fantastic. Especially when you catch the next gear and the harmonics line up and it sounds like an old formula one car for a moment.
Great race, mate. Is it possible to know the actual specs of this Saab? Weight, power, suAspension, etc. Apparently is a Monte Carlo (i didn't even knew about it) 850cc 2 stroke engine. It looks really fun to drive, and you gave those Anglia and the Opel a run for their money. Cheers from Portugal!
Did you take off in 3rd ?Or is all the power up top, ported motor?Love 2 strokes, had plenty bikes back in the day.Kawasaki triples a particular favourite.
The 96 is handling was really tidy compared to some of the competition. What's the gauge just above the steering column that was flashing red towards the end?
Dude that thing looks like a riot. I love vintage race cars like this, so weird and cool.

I like the Cortina sliding around.
Great run, I just d-loaded this track for GTR2 Sim on PC, gonna give the Saab a go in the rain. Thanks for the viddy.
Well driven! Also fun to watch you feet work.
once it gets up to speed it can boogie, but getting it off the line was diabolical.
I do love a bit of Saab two stroke action. I'd love to see him take on some hot Trabants and Ladas.
Takk for det..... fabulous
Very nice sound!!! 😎👍💪💪💗
oli ihan pakko tilata kanava ku 2T mylly mylvii!! hienoo tekemisen meininkii!
Is that a heated windshield you've got there?

I like how the tacho goes apeshit when it's time to shift
That thing needs a 200hp skidoo two stroke engine swap.
Nice "pre-breaking"-style with his left foot- haven`t seen that before!? Was there a little air left in the brake system?
I was wondering if it was for warming the brakes
" vauhdin hurmaa jo kuudessakypissä ja tuulisuhisee korvissa vinosti takaapäin" 😂
Sounds like crazy frog
