Armon's perspective should have been "I wish the officer would not have killed the soldier" instead of putting the burden on the soldier. Plus with swatting going on, the soldier may have thought something suspicious was going on. AND ARMON, UNARMED BLACK PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN KILLED IN THEIR HOMES BY POLICE OFFICERS!

Right Al, each student should have gotten a certain number of tickets. When my daughter graduated, she got 5 tickets and she gave them to who she was closest to. Just make sure you can give the family pictures.
Years ago I worked at Nordstrom in Detroit. Ms Baker requested store security because she stated there were too many fans following her. She was not very nice. In comparison, I had the pleasure of assisting “The Baby” Ms Nancy Wilson. No one else recognized her shopping in the Couture Dept. She wore no makeup. She caused no ruckus. An unexpected delight. My brothers were in awe when I shared this experience .
I’m almost positive this is what happened to that serviceman killed. The cops were called to a domestic dispute call. The cop went to the wrong door. The young man heard the dispute himself. Being cautious, he grabbed his gun when he heard the banging this door thinking it was from the disturbance and not knowing it was the cops.

We saw her perform in Dallas a few months back, 8pm show. She was late, tired, sweaty and I never knew she has a pronounced limp. Her voice is still mesmerizing, but Anita asked the audience at least five times if we were "sleepy yet." Her touring days are over. Anita should take a seat and do some studio recordings or something else because being on the road is obviously too much on her. And I was seriously thinking she wasn't sober. Idk if it's meds, booze, or both, but she's obviously dealing with something serious.

Yes, I remember when Gary was on the show at the beginning. But I quickly saw that Al, Claudia and Funky Dineva were better together because they had chemistry and their commentary was a balanced blend of thoughtful, serious at times, funny, and shady. I couldn’t see Gary doing the show long term and giving real thoughtful commentary on all of the topics they cover on the show.

On the Howard grad story. They should have only allowed ticket holders then set up a live stream of the graduation for everyone else, that way family's and loved ones not able to make it, they could have set up watch parties.
Unfortunately my school told me I would be graduating on the 4th and decided to change it to the 3rd live stream so, I missed my ceremony and I worked really hard for those degrees so, I was sad. It genuinely pmo
Yes. My son graduated last week. They had 3 ceremonies and the students chose which one they wanted to attend. People were given tickets according to the amount of people that signed up for each ceremony. We received 8 tickets and everything went pretty well. The ceremony was also streamed and there was a room where the ceremony was shown for late comers. Sorry you missed your ceremony.
As a Howard graduate, the department graduations are ticketed, so I don’t think it was first come, first serve. The Saturday graduation for everyone is the one everyone can attend. I think some ppl got overzealous bc this didn’t happen with the other departments.

Howard’s general graduation where all schools at the University march and walk was still held so the parents and families did get to see their loved ones graduate. It was just the school of nursings separate ceremony that got cancelled but the general grad was ok.
The school rectified the situation by allowing them to walk on Saturday in the larger venue after the main ceremony.
