- Danny Cipriani could be the most talented player in English Rugby history. Despite that, he had a short international career and many fans and analysts alike believe that Cipriani never lived up to his potential. So why is that the case and how did it go wrong for Danny Cipriani?
This is "The Curious Case of Danny Cipriani."
As always, before we begin, don't forget to like and subscribe. Once again thank you so much for the recent support on the videos. Honestly, without you guys none of this would be possible.
With that all said and done, it's been your boy John Talks Rugby and I'll see you next time.

England's very own Carlos Spencer
Don't disrespect king Carlos like that
Ciprianni cutting clean King Carlos boots & his career proves such. Carlos is a nice guy to meet for a starters whereas Ciprianni has been a self absorbed prat. Nicknamed Google whilst in Melbourne.
Very good video, deserves more attention
Cheers man! Appreciate it 👍
Great video man just subscribed!
Thanks for the sub man 😊
England’s Gavin Henson
Shame Reminds me of willie le roux but England media victimize own players who need help, you say he was Jewel but treated him like trash...
Siya kolisi was drinking in his 20s and someone actually checked him about this and he got straight...
Sbu won a world cup in 2018 and after covid the blue bulls allowed to take a break from rugby coz he had personal issues...and yes form was effected but you saved a man and counts more...
You only care about his form, wheres is he now, is his family okay etc....none of that
So true, well said
Such a pity Johnson couldn’t manage him. That’s always the trouble with high skill levels, they are always difficult to reign in to a box, which is obviously all Johnson could ever consider.
As a wasps seasonticket holder and ex fly half : magical with ball in hand, average without.
Josh Lewsey knocked him out in training for mocking Lewseys recent high ball issues which he corrected.
Great videos
Thanks man! Appreciate it
Kelly Brook described him as a car crash but, a little more insightfully, as a lost little boy. It is almost as if he couldn't believe what was available to him and went out of his way to sabotage it. Injury played a part but booze and the need for adoration from attractive women, plus a propensity to be out late at night where trouble was always available meant he was never just about the rugby. And he was awful in the last test of his first stint as England 10. Bit of a George Best of English Rugby.
Well said 👍
The English Gavin Henson
A talented player, but had a lot of demons he couldn't control.
Pity his IQ didnt match his playing abilities.
