Can I Bring fresh Meat into Botswana?

Sounds like it might be tricky going from Maun to Nxai pan, CKGR, and Pans 🤔

Hey, glad it was a little bit helpful, it is tricky going from Maun northbound it may be worth checking the little local butchery in motopi that's the little village just on the south side of the makalamabedi vet gate, or if you travel up to letlakane....or eat a lot of chicken :-/

Where exactly in Ghanzi can you buy good meat, what do you suggest? We were pretty surprised last time, how bad the options were.

The smaller the town, unfortunately the less options, however Ghanzi butchery is very good. Also there is a spar and a Shopright. But for quality Ghanzi butchery is definitely the best.

@@exploringbotswana there was not one steak on offer in the butchery close to puma fuel station/northern end of town. Is there an other butchery, or did we just have bad timing?

@@miganz81 oh wow, I would imagine it was bad timing, it’s surprising. Spar normally has decent steak, I think they would be your second choice
