The Crew feels like the last of an era of a way too serious, gritty and dark era of racing games before everything became like forza horizon where everything is a party and nothing bad happens. I kinda miss it
Yeah I miss it honestly. We can say all positive things about TC Motorfest etc, but it's another festival racing game. Back in the days there were real stories in the racing games. At least TC Motorfest's playlists are great, while FH5 "story mode" wasn't especially good or new.
Other than its short story what about it is dark and gritty? Once it comes down the gameplay and long term play time it is just like its sequels and Horizon. I just miss frequent and good arcade racing game, story doesn't matter at all to me in a racing game.

I remember the heavier cars being easier to drive fast...F150 circuit spec was a beast.
My circuit of choice was the GT40.
I remember trying to drive to Mount Rushmore in the first crew game at night absolutely impossible as for some reason the headlights didn’t light up much in front of your vehicle so it was pitch black so you actually could not see anything so glad motorfest has proper night time driving now
The high beams now make an actual difference.
Wow Headlights work unlike The Crew 2. I really miss that era of gritty racing games.

This game feels alive and it has that GTA vibe. Timecycle, light effects, weather, map, details, are much better than TC2 . I don’t care about racing boats and planes. I just wanted an improved TC1 with more cars
Still cant believe how long ago it came out. Its truly amazing for the time.
It’s amazing now much BETTER the environments, cities, and building looked in The Crew than The Crew 2
Hence why I never bought TC2, it felt lifeless and too clean for me
Yeah it’s crazy I remember watching a video comparing everything in the first two crew games and for some reason everything was much clearer and less blurry in the first game seems like they got really lazy with the graphics in the second game - still love exploring that massive us map though

The Crew was slept on big time and it breaks my heart, because the unpopularity of it likely means there will never be another like it. The Crew franchise will be Forza spinoff from here on out. What some people said made it boring was actually one of my favorite things about it: the lonesome two lane country roads. It made the feeling of traveling the US feel so authentic. I hope Ubi never makes this game unplayable because I will continuously make new profiles to replay this game from time to time.
Sadly its time to say goodbye in March

Posted similar on a previous video but I'm still hoping TCM is a brief departure from the US map. They've hinted at it a few times, saying Motorfest is a year-round festival, USST John has said he'll be back in the future. USA is still the perfect and most diverse map for climate/terrain etc. They just need to add better graphics, more detail and so many of the missing cities
Sid, if u look at how big America is and then look at how big Europe is compared to that u will see that it would be almost the same size if they would make the crew 3 in Europe instead of America
I love it how he thinks hes good at driving yet here in the crew 1 a slightly more realistic rendition of what the crew 2 is supposed to be he just forgets that a car can slip its wheels and forgets how to drive like he had any skills to begin with, cant wait to see more hilarious fails in the crew motorfest
When I got back into The Crew after playing The Crew 2 for so long, my car did feel like it's on ice.
Mind you, I did quite well in driving in The Crew Motorfest Closed Beta.
Motorfest could have a chase mode

i remember i drove like 10k km in toureg :D it was one of the best driving games - it just sad that they didn't remove the driving assist totally like they did in forza.

Not for me, the graphics look nicer but I just love the massive us map in the crew 2 and really love the planes and bikes I still find it fun to explore really looking forward to motorfest on Thursday though

Online multiplayer in any racing game is usually complete ass. Alls people do is ram lmao
Am Mad i don't see anything with Monstertrucks, Police Cars, Taxis, Demolition (no multiplayer). They may add more PVP events in the Future.

I did watch the video ngl and can talk about a lot of things BUT... Dubai wouldn't be a good motorfest map, a good map that I still stand for since the idea of motorfest appeard would be the Peloponnese region of Greece. The landmarks, everything just makes it a perfect map, and I say this as a person that is not from Greece...

I play a lot of warzone and for the last 3 weeks the people that play with me have had to put up with me talking about motorfest every single day and for the last week I've been giving the daily countdown. Lol. Long long time since I've been this hyped for a game
If you are pre ordering it yes but I will be playing the standard pc version on Thursday I sadly missed out on the beta so am really looking forward to finally playing it
