My mental issues got really bad in 2019 and I started hanging out with different people and becoming social. House partying at a friend's house and making music, forming a band. Honestly some of the best days of my life but mixed with some of the absolute worst. I was drinking. God knows what else then. After I graduate college in 2020, I continued on with the same crowd. I know some of my outside friends thought I was becoming dumb. No... It was group therapy and I wouldn't have survived without them. We had dreams. We had passion. But it got drowned out by toxic habits that eventually lead to me snapping. dad died in 2021 followed by my aunt. I was out of my fucking mind...found out a lot about my dad and who he actually was and it helped me understand myself better. At the end of 2023 I'm doing a lot better. I've lost some friends but I have a very loving community. In purposely have cut myself off from most to be healthy. And now that I'm in grad school acing my way this semester, I can feel people being impressed and it's amusing

I was forced to believe the mother who was lying on me since 4 1/2 years young and was severely punished for having healthy boundaries, being self-loving & believing in the Divine. not a "super power" for some me but a healing process. learning to build boundaries and thinking and deciding for yourself, tapping into your own feelings, not absorbing these of everyone else. focusing on your dreams and making them your goals. isolation is an important phase to know your place in the world, without everyone telling you what you have to be, which truely would make you feel alone. you are here for a reason and your isolation prevents you from getting distracted from that destiny. there is a lot of pain in that isolation at first because you haven't found your place yet, but also can't stay swimming in the distractions.
