I was there. I had insider info that the Killers would join Brandon, and I was standing near the front of the VIP side just waiting and watching the audience all around me, knowing people were going to lose their minds. It's still one of my top 3 concert moments ever. The way the energy exploded when people realized what was happening was palpable.
Just saw The Killers last night at Xcel Center in St. Paul, MN and they killed it (no pun indended). Brandon sounded just as good as back then and they upped their game with amazing visuals and wild 3-D dancers that looked like live dancers and a crazy giant red rock floating that looked real before they did their encore ending with Mr. Brightside that was so killer!
I was there. This Life is Beautiful Festival was the best ever. Weezer played their hits right after the Killers finished. My two favorite bands of all time.
