Brodie, I will admit, I wasn't a fan of yours at first. I mean, who is this guy, with all these social media followers, coming into my sacred sport and thinking he is going to take over? But, you have grown on me, and debate night and your podcasts, with your no-holds-barred opinions, makes things interesting. It would be boring without you and I wouldn't watch. So, screw the detractors and keep doing you. It is good for the sport. Kudos brother!
Same. I like to think he lost a little bit of his ego along the way as well, but mostly I started to appreciate what he was doing for the sport, which makes it easier to accept/overlook some of his bad takes.
I on the contrary still think hes the same cringe lord he was in the beginning and still watch him bc every once in awhile he says something good.
Brodie is dope. A man's man. Man of the people. Tells his opinions and stands firm to them. Agree or disagree (I agree full disclosure) respect for someone who stands firm with facts behind their own opinion, indicating its been thought through to come to solid conclusion of opinions

He's not afraid to bring up sensitive topics with an opinion and at the same time not afraid to admit when he's wrong or change his mind when supplied with additional information. That won me over. He balances controversy with fairness.
Props to Brodie! He has takes but IF he changes his mind or realizes he’s wrong he is forthcoming about it. Why he should be liked and Not hated on. This is not the first time.

I don't know why people aren't talking about this: Ricky Wysocki was one OB away from a full European sweep. If he forces the playoff with Buhr and wins, he has 4 wins, including a major, and Gannon only has 3 and no major.
Can the future of this show be 3 host. That being trever, hunter and Brodie. You each give out a piont each question on the best argument so points are fair and any time someone says something crazy brodie can rebuttal anyone at any time. 😂

Who else would love to see a tournament where one player or a three player team from each state represents where they call home. I ask because I really enjoyed seeing USA VS EUR.
I wanted to chime in a little. I had the pleasure of attending both the Euro Open and Estonia this year. Everyone is right, these events from a production/fan point of view are just better than what we have in the US. BUT, it's important to also have a look at WHY this is. There are a few factors that I noticed. First is the distance for a spectator to travel is much less. An event in Finland is going to draw in spectators from not only all of the country, but other neighboring countries as well. Secondly, I was taking a look at the sponsor list in Estonia, it's HUGE. They have so many sponsors from local and national companies, outside of the sport itself. This is massive, and something we just don't really have. Sure, we'll get an insurance company or Barbasol, but they have dozens of sponsors outside the sport coming in to pitch in. This gives the TDs so much more money to pour into amenities and not just purses. Just some things to think about from what I noticed. Love the show keep it up guys!

The only problem with the European Disc Golf Festival course was the par. Way too many par 3s for a major course.

I feel like the winner of the Euro swing was all the US players who participated. I feel like we are gonna see more of those who went get leveled up here in the States. Better courses and tougher competition.
Brodie says “the players don’t care” about remarks/criticism like from people like Hunter on social media. If they didn’t care they wouldn’t block people who make takes they don’t agree with. They clearly care and they show it through their actions more than anything
Brodie, might need to work extremely hard but he actually could definitely win a tour event! Brodie is extremely talented. Extremely experienced! Kung Fu, Tom Brady diet, trainers, absolutely could. Win “Worlds”. It’s a once a year event. Almost anyone could win but the odds are against “everyone”.

Thought I'd throw this out there - I disagree with Dustin on players not saying "nice shot" in the moment. I'm not saying it should be required to do so. But I don't think it should be discouraged or demonstrates a weakness if you do so. For me, if I win, I want it to be because I am playing well and not because my opponents are playing poorly. If someone throws a great shot, congratulating them doesn't hurt your game. There are definitely times when you're in the moment and keeping focus, so you won't say anything, and that's cool. But it's equally cool to say something positive if you feel like it, and it doesn't demonstrate a lack of desire to win.
Shocking, they're changing holes with OB to make it easier...and you wonder why this sport isn't taken seriously. And Ross is right, reduce the fields...in all the tournaments, have a cut. Yes, stop asking the softball questions at the press conference, get rid of the buddy, buddy mentality, and you will see the sport get recognized more professionally.

Wouldn't getting rid of OB make pace of play worse? Without OB you have to find, get to, and throw out of the woods. I dont see how that improves pace of play
The comment that people are less likely to give money to people who they think have money is generally true, but strangely online streamers who make millions are a glaring exception. I think when people know they're the only source of income for someone/something and they feel part of the community when they donate or support, the stigma that they have become wealthy kinda fades away with fandom.

way way to easy for a major that course in Estonia was so easy for these top guys and earlier disc golf coverage was better then today's coverage they did it more like golf if u go back and watch u see way more players on coverage and the skip around the course like golf

Topic next week: Is discgolf ready to go Olympic? Heck if brakedancing, skateboarding, synchronized swimming is olympic. If they are considered worthy of olympic contenders (and so many others)! Why not discgolf?:):):)
Discgolf will not be an olympic event for quite some time, mainly because 95% of the players are coming from only 3-4 countries. It's not diverse enough for the Olympic Games. Other sports got demoted in the past because of this issue.
@@BathTeth in the olympics there are many sports that are totaly dominated by 1 or 2 countries. Table tennis, badminton, long distance running. Field is filled up with other contestants of countries you can question if they have anything to do at the olympics. And many countries make other athletes who are born somewhere else their athletes because of the big pool of athletes who excell in that specific sport. Tabletennis players with chinese roots who play for other countries, long distancerunners from african countries who now run for european countries,etc,etc. So i think discgolf is diverse enough to be a sport at the olympics and could be a great way to expose more nondiscgolf people to the sport! heh if breakdancing can be olympic then discgolf can also be olympic!:):):)

james - with all due respect I must say I agree with Brodie. Last year Paul went to Europe and before he shut stuff down half way through the season - he won 4 times in Europe and had one second place. That was a great European Tour and DGPT event swing he had.
This year he had no wins but a few close calls. If you would have talked with Paul before he went over - and asked him what would he consider a good Euro swing? I’d have to
Imagine coming off last years 4 wins that he would have said min one win and would love to win Euro Open or at least 2nd.
Paul is a stud no doubt. Has a bunch left in tank. Will go down as one of best ever to throw a piece of plastic. Ever. But I truly feel Brody’s take that if Paul doesn’t finish this season strong that this Euro swing will be upsetting as it was close but no cigar. So overall a disappointment.

@@richp3744 3 podium finishes in Europe. In the 11 events prior domestically he had only 1 top 3 finish and 4 of them he finished outside of the top 50. What are we even talking about here?

HA! I am 46, married with 4 kids. My mom would kick me out. Lol. But yeah it is my sons room. He has the best computer in the house. But he is leaving for college in a week so it's the last time I get to use that setup.
