OMG you poor thing. Birthing can be so traumatic and yours souned especially difficult. Thank goodness everything turned out fine. Now that is all behind you hopefully you will fully relax into your new life with your little angel. Congratulations on the little bundle of joy and your new home as well!. Rest as much as possible and pamper yourself in any way you can. These are precious moments. I imagine your videos will slow down for a while and that is perfectly understanable. Don't feel pressure to do it all. Take care of mama!
It’s amazing what we women do to bring our babies into the world. I had to have a c-section but it wasn’t too bad. I did want a natural birth and was disappointed at the time. My baby girl is now 14. Enjoy your baby. It goes by so fast! ❤
Yay! I’m so happy for you! I can’t remember if your girl was a surprise, but I was surprised as I don’t remember knowing you were having a girl! I ended up delivering 6 days early just this past weekend and I’m not kidding when 75% of our birth story was the same, except ‘just’ 37 hours. Overall I am thankful that it unfolded the way it did since it didn’t end up even worse (c section after ALL that, long term complication, etc) and I’m betting you feel the same. 🎉 When baby came out it was just as much tears of sheer relief as tears of joy.
I can definitely relate to long labor 48 hrs of it. Mine ended up being a "failed induction" . I remember that feeling of needing to push at 8cm though. But pretty much after that, getting into optimal positions to progress caused his HR to decel, the epidural failed, etc. But when he was cut out, he ended up being the biggest baby delivered that week. Ironically, I was probably the smallest person they delivered from in the history of that hospital lol
