I've had fugu (not *fahgu*!) several times in Japan. It's not rare. Per Wikipedia, "As previously mentioned, commercially available fugu in supermarkets or restaurants is very safe, and poisoning is very rare. Most deaths from fugu occur when untrained people catch and prepare the fish. In some cases, they eat the highly poisonous liver as a delicacy." It's not really dangerous at all in restaurants.
Just to clear things up peeps, I'm from the US, and we do NOT normally eat bull or sheep balls, or deep fried butter. I personally think those are two of the most disgusting things ever.
I love chicken necks! Extremely underrated. Grilled or boiled either way....yeah it has a lot of bones in it but it is awesome. Try making chicken noodle soup but with chicken necks........heaven!
137th! octopus, fresh actually isn;t bad (accept when you think about they were cut up alive in front of you). it's a really white meat, no fishy flavor & high protein (if you are still a meat eater)
I went to Iceland this summer actually and we went to a shark museum where they actually made the Greenland shark and oh my that stuff is nasty. It smells gross and is rubbery xD they eat it a lot on Christmas and they usually dip in in shnops (alcohol) before they eat it! (Personally the alcohol is worse than the shark)
Actually, studies are finding that high cholesterol and fatty foods are actually good for you! So eat up on those deep fried butter clumps friends! Well. So long as you stop eating carbs that is ;3 (Information courtesy of multiple Keto-diet providing sources. Seriously, check this stuff out. It's insane. Personally i'll stick to my carbs and slowly dying though.)
