I just finished the campaign game solo, loved it. Plays quickly and I love the ZOC Bond games. The mountain hexsides are a great addition, pushing units down certain paths.
My first game in this series and I love it, small map, one counter-sheet and alot of chrome but easy to learn. Can't wait for the next one in this series.
Well done video, as always Alexander. I've got my map on the table for over a week. just trying to get other gaming stuff done so I can start Sal43. I do love Mark's games. Just need the reprint on p500 for France '40.
.... and over time, plans are to expand this game with two additional games to the north, eventually taking the system all the way to Rome!!! If I understand correctly, the three games will connect so a full campaign can be played... Not sure how quickly this will all come about - Simonitch is a very busy guy !!!
Simonitch posted over on CSW recently that he’s finishing North Africa 41, then finalizing the France 40 reprint, then heading back to finish up this Italy campaign with the 2 additional titles. Guy’s a machine.
Hello Alexander and Grant! I am an avid board gamer and I am looking to expand into war games. Where do you recommend I start? I have my eye on In Magnificent Style, Freeman's Farm, Tarawa 1943 and Chancelloresville 1863. I know these aren't has heavy as a Salerno '43, but they look to be a good entry point. Do you agree? Where should I go after these?
Since I do play exclusively solo I'll take one of the players aids back fold it and put both in a page protector that way I can see all four sides and keep them clean.
Definitely a keeper especially the optional mounted mapboard being stunning / immersive.

Just got Stalingrad '42 thanks to you guys, I guess I'll be jumping on this one too!
I believe Mark is working on an Anzio 44 in this series
Bond. ZOC Bond.

Same here. That has made the extra play aid in any game a huge win for me.

He's envisioning a trilogy for Italy.
