Only thing I might add is to use 45 degree bend fittings instead of 90 degree fittings. Water flows better when it doesn't have to make a lot of sharp turns like that.
some dummy had the brilliant idea at my house to curve mine like a U and go through my fence over a board instead of under it. so the last pipe tilts up isntead of down. anyways mine cracked and it comes down from my attic down through a metal pipe. so now i gotta try to trim the bottom and replace it and hope it dont break anything in the tube going to my attic. what a pickle. not to mention the friggen stuff coming off the central air is bunched right on it as well
I have been eyeing a wet/soggy spot under my ac pipe for MONTHS trying to come up with something that would prevent this from getting worse. This video was amazing, and makes this project look doable and not overwhelming. Thank you so much!! I’ll be trying this and crediting you both! 🫶🏾
This condensation line is for both heat and AC, anytime the furnace creates condensation. With that said, I need to be mindful in the winter months as my actual HVAC company used tubing, not PVC and it froze here in Oregon in the winter. Now I have the problem you guys originally had, and the PVC it’s been switched to is not letting it drain properly, it’s too close to the house and creating moss. With the extended run of PVC you’ve used with the splash pad, it won’t freeze?
the rocks help with that. it doesnt come out like waterfall. or shouldnt anyways. should splatter and dry on the rocks and not be enough to reach the wall. regular rain would do more damage then the ac if anything
Our drain line kept clogging and developed a leak. Our handler is in the attic so we just attached tubing to drain line by pan and came down out of of attic access panel right into washing machine drain. No more bucket emptying! We feel your pain. Did it unecesarily for 5 months!
@@MotherDaughterProjectsDIY Thank you, Steph. It looked heavier duty than we've ever seen there. We interviewed a landscape designer and he mentioned commercial grade as live in the country and have terrible issues with weeds.
Hi Ladies, love your videos... This is interesting and makes me wonder where the heck is my condensation going? Now I'm going to have to investigate LoL... Thank You 😎✌
Well aren’t you guys a lot of fun lol. Good idea! Rock!! It’s one of those “why didn’t I think of that moments” lol. Will definitely look into that solution. Thanks !

Hi! Just noticed I had this problem too. Do you have the problem that the water is making the yard all muddy? I’m not sure what to do!
french drain from the spout causing the issue

Is it not still draining next the the house?
It's draining away from the house so it doesn't go into the foundation.

@MelodicMizeryPs3Vids our house has rock and it still looks bad.
I am filling up a bucket every 2 hours!! Is this normal?? Where can I reroute it?

I couldn't find what type weed block fabric you used. That looks like really good stuff, but not what we see locally.
It's from home depot. We found it in the garden section. They have a few types, this was just the cheapest one I think. -Steph

Is that a DWV PVC pipe or regular?

I've noticed alot of water and it looks like wood ne t to the foundation.
Thanks!
Great video
I would have thought this should go into a storm water drain. It's still too close to the house.
Thanks!
Thank you!
