Thank you for sharing your experience and setup. I've been also in the Alps oe/vb-277 with my 705 and a mirical whip as tuner.
I will download the app right now. This was missing!

Sehr schönes Video. Einfach mal zeigen was so "geht" mit einfachsten Mitteln.

Thats exactly what I want to show! I dont want to go too deep in details of the 705. I think there are "millions" of videos out there. I want to show what you can do. So go out and operate on the bands. It was really nice and relaxing :-)

Why do you use a tuner on an antenna that tunes naturally!? I also recommend you divide the radial into 5 parts and arrange them circularly! SDR Control is a great application just a little too expensive and not crossplatform. Good activity and good Qrp!

Hi, You are right. But if I don't tune I only can use 20m to operate. I want to be flexible and connected the tuner as well. The radials is also right. But I always use one radial and I get good results. So I prefer the "easy" way.

@@echopapaqrp8166 For bands lower as 20m (17m, 15m, 12m, 10m) you just need to shorten the antenna. No tuner needed. With the build-in SWR-Graph you will find the best antenna length für each band easily.

Ich denke auch in CW und bei digimodes wäre der HB9 Präfix an das Rufzeichen voranzustellen..

Das ist richtig und mir ist das auch beim Schneiden des Videos aufgefallen.

Its a simple portable antenna from amazon. I bought it in Japan (amazin japan). But it is a chinese build. As always for chinese antennas: There is no real name printed on it.

What's the point of having an ATU at the base of the antenna? You are suppose to tune the antenna, not add a band aid ! Barry

Hi Barry, If you use the tuner, you don't need to care about the used band. Tune and go. Thats the point. It's comfortable and fast. If I only use 20m I would not use the tuner. But in that case I jumped from 40m to 10m. So I need the tuner. I am also a fan of resonant antennas. So if possible, don't use a tuner. But it is very easy to use one and don't care about the antenna. I hopt this makes my point more clear.
