Like others.... I got that metal ribbon at my Dollar Tree for $1.25 a roll. They had two different styles. I got them both. I did an antiquing wax first,, then used the rub and buff 2nd. I used some to trim black lamp shades, and some to trim tops of glass candle holders.
I found it works nice,Rub Buff,but I had the same experience where it didnt work with paper towel.I made a mess in hands table all over,what a job cleaning it up!Little tube and went through the whole tube quickly.Feel better you and your family!God bless ,....love videos!

A good job on the ribbon it looks expensive for any project. I've looked for the metal ribbon in my hobby lobby but have not found it, looked for it in the bridal section. Hope you get well soon and your daughter is recovering from the latest surgery. Take care till next time.

I made that gorgeous ribbon you made on your basket when I also found metal ribbon at Dollar Tree. I sprayed mine gold and then antiqued it with waverly dark wax. Im still looking for a half basket but have used it on several other things. Thank you for the idea. I love your channel❤ It would be nice if you could do a tutorial on how to make the bow you made for that christmas basket. I took a picture of it from your Christmas decorations and was able to copy how it was twisted and tied to make it.

Do you let the rub and buff dry then apply the antique wax? I assume you do, just making sure. Can't wait to see your fall trees.
