I think it's so freakin cool that more and more people have started one piece, especially in recent years. It also makes me very happy to know that telling someone to watch one piece before the one piece is revealed actually works, because one piece is peak and Im so glad people will have the chance to see that
ive always thought that the things we love come to us when we unknowingly need it. one piece came into a life when i was making a major life change with time to think about what i wanted in life. one piece came to me at the perfect time because it has led to a lot of thoughts about my own dream and how to feel free and find happiness amidst grief, trauma and pain. i regret not getting into it when i was deep in my anime obsession in middle school but again, i think it came to me when i really needed it.
One piece is goat for me, nothing comes close. It made me cry for a mode of transport. Trying not spoil anything, but its got many tear jerks, many highs and lows. Many great fights, funny moments, what else do you want? I'd laugh if the one piece is a golden one piece suit meant for swimming in. That somehow negates the side effect of sea water for devil fruit users. I think I started watching just before Robin had her wanting to live moment aired. So while I can't say I've watched it from the very first aired episode, it's been one hell of a ride. And at 31, it's been around for almost all my life. I don't want to see it end, it's going be a very sad day when it does.
I remember watching one piece in 2003, but for years it disapeared from my sight. It wasn't until 2013 when I began whatching it again and this time never left it. Ps. I was born in 1997, the year one piece came out. Right now I am 27 years old.
With how one piece encourages you to go for your dreams, no matter how rediculous, One piece encouraged me to write and try and work on something. I got to hyped up on it and publicly posted on twitter to oda that I would try to reach one piece's height. I am embarassed now, but more that I should of said that I'd reach my own height. But I had such a big rush out of watching one piece again that I got lost in the moment. I won't take my words back though, as I am not giving up until I release something I feel is amazing. I have been too timid and non-confrontational my whole life, so it is time for me to do something brash. and if I make something even one person likes, than I will have succeeded for myself.
I enjoyed One Piece since episode 1 mainly because I found it funny and loved Luffy as a character. Started in 2013 and been caught up for awhile. I never cared about the pacing back then and never realized how amazing of a story it was. Will never be ready for it to end but I do look forward to its conclusion one day.
0:35 Detetive Conan is also still relevant ongoing and popular xD I'm really excited which one of them will end first. They both are coming closer to an end, but since the DC manga chapters don't release weekly like One Piece I really don't know which one will be over first xD But it's crazy that the Pokemon Anime with Ash already ended. When DC and One Piece end, all three of the animes (mangas in case of DC and OnePiece) that I knew from when I was a kid snd were always there ongoing will be over :0

@The_EverythingYT I'm just glad you picked it up and kept with it man. I wish more would just stop and watch One piece open minded and stop comparing it to other animes and saying "Where is the filler episodes?". Just watch what it was like the ones before them, even filler episodes on One piece can be enjoyable to watch in my opinion. Stop comparing luffy with other power ups from different anime and just enjoy the show like a little kid.

I guess this is more of a gut feeling than anything but after seeing so many people claim that there will never be a show like One Piece again, I just wanna clear some doubts. There will be one, and not only will it eventually match the level of One Piece, it will *exceed* One Piece. It's been in the works for about a year now and every time something new is added to the world, this story surpasses all past expectations. I'm not sure if it will be an industry giant like One Piece was, or if it will even be popular at all, but the story itself will exceed One Piece twice over. My best guess for a release date is around 2029 but those practice mangas that I have half-planned out might push it back a bit further. Either way, you can't even *fathom* the storm that's brewing.
Well wtv it is it might be a great story.. and m pretty sure there are other great stories right now, some might argue even better than One Piece. There is nothing on par with One Piece. Show me the actual stats. Your opinion is nothing. One Piece is the best selling manga of all time for over a decade now, even during the big 3 era, bleach, hxh, Naruto never pass One Piece manga sales and not even close. Oh, do u want to argue about anime? One Piece is top 3 most demanding anime of all time too behind JJK and AOT with narrow percentage margin. There is no series which can on par with One Piece in the actual stats for over 2 decades. Your opinion is just your opinion, not reality. The actual data and stats is reality.
Why the fuck do I keep hearing Omori music in every single anime related video I watch? First was a video on why people hate Boruto, now this. Am I going insane?
Pre-nika one piece is 9/10 overall great arcs emotional backstories impactful moments elder stars and imu are mysterious seems like intellectual group of antagonists Post-nika piece is mid 5/10 plot errors everywhere incompetent group of villains (elder stars w/imu, cp0, beast pirates) more fakeout (okiku, kinemon, hyogoro, guernica, sentomaru, vegapunk) flashback fakeout (sukiyaki, saul) wasted big mom no tension/stakes awakening handed out like candy luffy the most privileged main character since naruto and ichigo
As long as it looks good, I'm fine with it. Are you a manga only at the moment? cause one thing i noticed, from the beginning of Wano the pacing has been improving steadily. There actually is, the show called Gintama which perfected the formula and definitely better than One Piece 💯 I love One Piece but the fake-out obvious deaths did not execute properly, G5 killed the sense of danger, Nika-Nika fruit is overpowered and completely unnecessary, Monkey D. Luffy didn’t have to be a Jesus Pirate, unanswered plot threads and many more…this type of things leave a bad taste in my mouth as long life One Piece fan however it is still in my top number 9 as a guilty pleasure anime alongside number 10 Attack on Titan.
love gintama.. m actully watching it right now, m on ep 206. but they are completely different. one is an episodic parody, and one has a linear narrative. i dont think they are comparable.
@@The_EverythingYT you were right but those episodic events are part of the story.. for example in some serious moments or even mix of seriousness and comedy were way more thought provoking, deep and complex, and more on character driven, it also leave the storyline in a vague way giving up hints on the upcoming event. Overall Gintama is better and more mature than whatever One Piece does now with their plot inconsistencies.
@@The_EverythingYT the writer change Luffy’s already established DF type, it was once a paramecia gum gum fruit to what it is now mythical zoan human human fruit model sun god nika “the chosen one fruit” and that leaves every plot errors possible throughout the story, if you get it what I mean. Though good thing you liked it, what matters is your own opinion at the end of the day
I don't think he changed anything. There was always some kind of mystery behind Luffy's Devil Fruit. Revealing that it's a Mythical Zoan is just a turning point in the story, and that's it. some kind of plot twist was bound to happen considering the end of the story is near. Can you give me some plot holes that were made because of this?
@@chrispolo25 yeah gum gum fruit was mysterious from the start... if it was not that special fruit then why the hell shanks would steal it from marines. Shanks the former member of Roger pirates was not dumb to risk his and his crew's life to steal some random ass devil fruit so he knew from the start that gum gum fruit is special
@@The_EverythingYT he did change it retroactively retcon Nika also has caused the fandom to split in One Piece history, afaik (2022-now) A large part why Nika is so divisive is that in the grand scheme of things, it actually does break that many established facts of the story. The provable definitive plot hole is the Gorosei not going after him. Anything else can be handwaived away (with varying degrees of contrivance). So, to get the plot hole out of the way: - The Gorosei not killing Luffy is a plot hole. They had his info at Jaya (if you are being very generous) at the latest and did nothing to kill Luffy. This is both a result of the retroactive nature of nika and power creep. We know they have strong people in the navy and we know to what lengths they will go to kill innocent weak undesirable people (like Roger’s unborn child Ace) in the off chance that they could be dangerous in the future. They had CP0 people like Guernica and didn’t bother sending them, or anyone (any new world fodder is stronger than them by that point) because Luffy was nika. Why even have secret assassins if you don’t use them to secretly assassinate people? And thats not even going into they lost it in the east blue, but didnt bother to keeps tabs on anything that might be related to that? They should have spies regularly screening every df user as a matter of course. Such a thing wouldn’t even be suspicious (for all those "paying attention to something makes it suspicious and people will immediately know that there is a grand conspiracy"- people), but just prudent. It’s just ridiculous how the Gorosei doing what any means necessary to publicly genocide islands like Ohara that have to do with the void century (didn’t entirely destroyed because plot hole the books survived, fodder marines didn’t report to the head what they saw and Akainu didn’t even bother to double check if there is an evidence left) and erase other islands from records entirely. Or guarding the fruit in itself when they had it. You can use Shanks and Garp connection excuse all day long but it doesn’t change the fact that One Piece supposed to be a “competitive competition” which everybody even a nobody can get it as long as you’re dedicated. One Piece’s story as of now is nothing but cheap chosen one storytelling we’ve seen in the likes of Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, and My Hero Academia.
Can you p!ease stop the Stan behavior. There are other manga that have been going on for just as long if not longer than One Piece. This is the same as saying One Piece is the "best storyever" while having no clue of the contents of other great stories.
I appreciate your dislike and comment, but I'd like to clarify my point. In this video, I'm not dismissing other long-running anime/manga series. I'm just highlighting how One Piece maintained it's popularity over the years. keep in mind that it's a weekly anime/manga. it is a rare thing to happen (for weekly ones). And regarding the quality of the story, I completely agree that there are many exceptional Anime/manga out there. believe or not, One Piece isn't even my fav anime . and as for Naruto, i've only watched the first one. I still haven't started Shippuden.
@@The_EverythingYT Naruto the first one is full of filler arcs Naruto as a whole is full of filler arcs but if you only watch the main episodes it is great, Naruto is great, Shippuden is just as great until the war arc starts
Yes there will. The One Piece remake is coming out soon.
And there's the live action too but thats not what i meant. U missed the point of the video :)
@@The_EverythingYT I was making a joke bro. lol.
well i tought it was a joke intially, but again there's a remake coming out, sooo.. Had to take it seriously
@@The_EverythingYT Lol it's all good bro 🤣
Anime will not be like One Piece because it best that Anime is it own identity than being other anime
I like cheese and this video
Why the fuck do I keep hearing Omori music in every single anime related video I watch?
First was a video on why people hate Boruto, now this. Am I going insane?
Well it has no copyright, thats why.. and dw u're fine, u're not going insane.
Pre-nika one piece is 9/10 overall
great arcs
emotional backstories
impactful moments
elder stars and imu are mysterious seems like intellectual group of antagonists
Post-nika piece is mid 5/10
plot errors everywhere
incompetent group of villains (elder stars w/imu, cp0, beast pirates)
more fakeout (okiku, kinemon, hyogoro, guernica, sentomaru, vegapunk)
flashback fakeout (sukiyaki, saul)
wasted big mom
no tension/stakes
awakening handed out like candy
luffy the most privileged main character since naruto and ichigo
❤❤❤❤
Let's hope that what the title says is true
i guess it is. most mangakas won't dare to stretch out their story for 30 years
There will definitely be another anime like One Piece.
They’re calling it The One Piece. They’re remaking it.
Pacing is still a problem for me but I love the story and read the manga so doesn't bother me
As long as it looks good, I'm fine with it. Are you a manga only at the moment? cause one thing i noticed, from the beginning of Wano the pacing has been improving steadily. Even if there are some slow scenes, the animation quality is still impressive which makes the show more enjoyable even when nothing is happening.
It may seem weird but... Pacing has never been a problem for me 😅 I honestly don't know why
@@miers2002Same! I can't see the "bad pacing" people talk about, except for *1* specific part in Dressrosa.
@@rifter4478 Fr, and if it's something repeating i just to the 10s skip, i think it's because I've seen way worse pacing before, but it's just never gotten to me except for 1 time in orange town
yo great vid

Detective Conan and Sazae-san:
Not as mainstream as One Piece tho
@@The_EverythingYT
Detective Conan is really popular in Japan.
And it's also pretty popular where I come from (Germany), it even got new episode dubs after years with the same voice actors as before and the movies air in the cinema at events ^^
Wanna bet?In 5 years I'mma create the greatest manga in the entire world!!
what is it about
@@The_EverythingYT No spoilers 🤫
@@BreakMaster6000 bro ur not gonna create the greatest manga. Give me ur discord
It's bittersweet because One Piece is the greatest story ever but at the same tim it ruined anime for me because no others are like it I'm drawn in by long story telling but other anime seem to short in length to enjoy.
short animes have their sharm ngl
damn i was born in 2002 too😂
yeah one piece was my anime gateway i watched stampede in 2019 and decided to watch it finished it in 2 months i didn't know what anime or filler is at the time so i watched all of it@@The_EverythingYT
🍿👴🏻 Interesting
There actually is, the show called Gintama which perfected the formula and definitely better than One Piece 💯
I love One Piece but the fake-out obvious deaths did not execute properly, G5 killed the sense of danger, Nika-Nika fruit is overpowered and completely unnecessary, Monkey D.
NEVER
exactly
✋🏻🙂↕️
Lol Wano ruined One Piece.
wait what! M i missing something? it's my second fav arc in one piece. Ruined is a big word
@@The_EverythingYT he did change it retroactively retcon Nika also has caused the fandom to split in One Piece history, afaik (2022-now)
A large part why Nika is so divisive is that in the grand scheme of things, it actually does break that many established facts of the story. The provable definitive plot hole is the Gorosei not going after him. Anything else can be handwaived away (with varying degrees of contrivance).
So, to get the plot hole out of the way:
- The Gorosei not killing Luffy is a plot hole.
I just wanted to make a video about it. just because someone made a video about a show or smtn, doesn't mean it's the only thing they watched/read.
ps: I'm an anime-only, i don't read manga, only one i've read is jojo part 6 & 7 (after finishing the anime ofc). But as an anime fan, i have some knowldge about the manga world.
@@The_EverythingYTI recommend reading the Manga because the pacing is a billion times better and the art is(mostly) consistently good
@@Ruined332 i think i'll stick with the anime. I dont have a problem with the pacing rn + i like the technical aspect abt watching smtn more than the story itself (voice actin, sound design, animation etc...)
This wont end within the next 10 years.
i hope that's the case, but it's quite unlikely
I’ve been a fan of the show for 15 years long however in recent chapters of op are some of the worst chapters in history even more so than 1044 controversy. imo this manga is already dead the drop of quality is of the same level as boruto, dbs, ft, sds, sao. Oda wrote himself into a corner and it will never be the same again, op sucks.
how? i'm an anime only, and from what i've seen so far it's great and only keeps getting better.
One piece is dead❗️
Gintama, fmab, hxh are better shows, although i will say this op is better than db, naruto, bleach
what do u mean one piece is dead... bro u from an alternative universe?
