Written for Anthony Radke his brother. Died after a motorcycle accident. He left behind his wife and 5 kids. Such an honest and heartfelt song 🥺
Really? This song hit me hard because my brother (non blood but childhood friend) is also named anthony. He was also taken in a motorcycle accident. The universe speaks through music sometimes.. this makes it hit even harder. Damn.
O wow i never no he had brother
"Let's see how many times you make me pause, you jerk!"
Plays sad song
@@SicIturAdAstra33 People sometimes say things happen for a reason. I believe it occasionally, other times I don't, but you can be darn sure you'll still be glad it happened regardless of the cause. That's a crazy coincidence and honestly I'm sorry for your loss because even though I don't know you or anything I have two brothers of my own.
It's about his brother, Anthony, who died in a motorcycle accident. The call he mentions is also referenced in "Chemical Prisoner" by Falling In Reverse (which also features his father along with his motorcycle club). The "song I wrote about your family years ago" is "The Day I Left The Womb" from back when he was in Escape The Fate, which I highly, HIGHLY recommend listening to.
Didn’t know the reference to left the womb but damn it makes it even more powerful
💯💯💯
Why you guys gotta make me cry so early in the morning. This song is always a hard one for me. I lost my big sister and my Dad last year. I used to put this song on repeat just to make myself feel all the feels and process my grief. People can say whatever they want about Ronnie but he writes from the heart and his music really does help people! Ok now I'm gonna go watch your reaction to Voices In My Head again to get back to my happy place lol.
I'm sorry for your loss hun. Thats awful.
If I'm not wrong, Ronnie wrote this song about his brother Anthony that died in a motorcycle accident.
Yes he did
That is correct
Yes he lost his brother Anthony and it really hurt Ronnie, he went through a lot to fight his inner emotions to write this song, this is why I love Ronnie his lyrics really tell his story and he can be so relatable! Also you guys are awesome! Thanks for your reactions, stay blessed!❤️❤️
It's absolutely haunting. I absolutely love that you guys appreciate every facet that is Ronnie.
I honestly teared up.
The Chemical prisoner (where he mentions missed call again), the day i left the womb and I dont mind are the saddest songs to me, he’s so vulnerable, you can literally feel his pain, check it out even on your own time you wont be disappointed
Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke has suffered the tragic loss of his older brother Anthony James Radke who died in an accident on the morning of August 10, 2013. Anthony was an avid motorcycle rider and a proud member of Nemesis MC. Anthony leaves behind his devoted wife Amanda and their five children.
He also wrote he assumed his brother would always die this way because of what a crazy driver he was 😢
God knowing the context behind this song, it honestly kicks me hard in the feels, I almost lost my uncle to a motorcycle crash two years ago as he barely survived it, then makes me think back to a dear close HS friend of mine who died of Bone Cancer before we graduated. God I feel them in the song.
I can't imagine...my brother and I don't always speak - but in a heartbeat we are there for each other when needed. Cannot imagine him not being around. Heartbreaking for Ronnie, and anyone who has lost a loved one.
This one hits home. My youngest Brett would've been 28 on May 18th this year. I've now missed him longer than I had him here. He passed in 2007 at 13 yrs old. It was an accident also. 😕 Ronnie can music and with that music let people feel.
Hope you have come to peace, Leslie.
This song makes me bawl every time I hear it. You can feel every emotion as he sings.
We should have warned you you will need tissues for this I bawled throughout the song his voice was so beautiful and raw
This was a hard one to get through.
@@Rykerroad yeah it was
In his book “I Can Explain” he tells about how his brother was driving his daughters small car and it hit a horse and it was fatal. If you listen close you can hear him cry. The book is an amazing read I highly recommended reading it. It gives explanations for so many parts of his life and some of what the songs mean. Everything from before Escape the Fate to now.
Great reaction! Theres a longer version with photos and some quotes from the time Anthony did and there's also a solo rap song called "Brother" by Ronnie, that you might want to check out just for yourself. The rap track features Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria) on the hook.
The death of Anthony was one of the reasons Ronnie became an atheist btw.
Greetings from Germany
This song sound like he just needed to get his raw thoughts out, singing it once and once only. Like, no epic video, no other instruments, no screaming. Just a simple and relatable soft song about mourning that everyone would hear.
Deep touching personal song in memory of his brother...#FIR
Great reaction guys, greetings from Greece 🤟
This is one of his best. Really shows how much he cares about others and his family. Never stops bringing a tear to my eye. I'm glad you both reacted to this. He's talented on multiple levels but people forget that he goes through a lot of shit. Glad he wrote this. It made a lot of people cherish their loved ones a lot more than before. He put his heart and soul into the song and I'm glad you got to experience it. Bless his brothers' soul and hope he smiles down on Ronnie for what he has achieved since then. Much love and respect.
Day I left the womb and this song are his strongest. Dude knows how to write some heavy lyrical shit for sure
I hate that I forget about this hidden gem! The reaction is amazing and I should be giving it so much more love than it has received!
Btw not sure if you guys know this, But Ronnie owns the rights to his music and he has said many times that his videos/songs will not get copyright striked, When he is doing reactions he does not like when the video is altered. anyways, LOVE the reactions!
They’ve tried I think YT is Fn them for no reason. And yes there is a video where Ronnie gives EVERYONE permission to stream his music or use it. I think YT hates up and coming great channels that get attention
The line when he said if he would have taken the call if it could have changed anything, he meant that maybe hes brother wouldnt have been then and there in that accident he was I think. This song always makes me cry, Ronnie performed it once and never again, it means so much to him.
just another side of Ronnie and his musical journey and/or therapy....if you need to cry... hugs!
While I hate how this song came to be, I love and appreciate his heart and soul, and talent he pours into it. For me it shows who he really is at the end of the day, and I love that. A beautiful song. A beautiful voice. A true artist. He just never disappoints.
Eric be drinking a mega pint 😂...if u get it u get it lol
Mega Pint?? I poured myself a large glass!
His brother died in a motorcycle accident
@@coreys.3978 I know but its HUGE and mega pint came to mind XD
Is that the definition of a "mega-pint"?
@@fawnwalker7855 probably lol.
If I may suggest a song, which I think you'll like, it's also called "Brother", also by Ronnie, but this is a track from his solo rap project, the mixtape "Watch Me", and features Danny Worsnop, who is the singer of the Asking Alexandria
This song helped me so much with the loss of my own brother. so sad but also beautiful. mannnnn
If I'm not mistaken, this is one song Ronnie refuses to perform in person and it was written for his brother Anthony that passed in a motorcycle accident. I believe his brother called him and he missed his call right before he went out that day.
Anthony died in a motorcycle accident and when Ronnie says "maybe if I answered you, you would still be here" it's because Anthony called him right before he left to go where ever he was headed. Ronnie regrets not answering the phone because he thinks that if he did, his brother would still be alive due to the fact that it would have taken Anthony longer to get to where the accident happened - potentially avoiding it together. It's a hard song to listen to. This situation is referenced in the song Chemical Prisoner as well.
This song hit me hard the first time i heard it caus eit brought me back to when my friend took his life in 2013.the part where ronnie says "maybe if i answered you that you would still be here all along".that line hit hardest.....cause i really understand that line.
I watched this when you dropped the video and I watch this even still cause I genuinely love this song. I have my brother and he is the reason why I listen to falling in reverse, and we listened to this song together and we both cried quietly, I guess it was a bonding moment for us. But regardless, this song hurts in a way that is not only emotional but it's a beautiful way to say you love someone.
Only song Ronnie won't do live. Very powerful and heartfelt song
So before Ronnie Radke formed FiR he was apart of Escape the Fate. This song reminds me of their song The Day I Left the Womb and The Webs We Weave. I would love for y'all to react the those. The Day I Left the Womb goes more into his mom and family dynamic.
The day I left the womb- Escape the fate song was written while Ronnie was the lead singer in the band and will give you a lot of insight into his family and brother
This is such a raw song. (I typed that before you did that😂). It breaks me every time. Look up the pictures of him and his brother, they are so sweet❤️.
But yeah. His brother died in an accident. If I remember correctly, Ronnie was on tour, missed a call from him and kind of blew it off, then found out he died. He also alludes to it in a lyric in Chemical Prisoner which is one I also recommended for you guys because it is really different musically from a lot of what you’ve heard!
From watching your rabbit hole with FIR I watched all of them for the last month at least. But today? From adrenaline rush of Voices in my head to this?? Two emotions in 16mins. Haha. I'm not bi-polar.
Im sorry, this is such a good song, but listening to it again and watching these guys - then seeing him drink out of a giant wine glass had me start laughing 😂
This song is indeed about his brother who was killed in a accident before Ronnie had willow, this song is one of those he won’t play live and I think has only done it in a few shows. Next I’d suggest coming home, chemical prisoner and carry on. all bangers and side not on carry on was a B side and he realesed it to us on twitch and it took off!
Others have already said it, his brother Anthony died in a motorcycle accident. This song is one that Ronnie has never, understandably, sang live.
O hell no. Can not do this live
This song is a follow up to the song "The Day I Left The Womb" from Ronnie's Escape The Fate days. Its important to listen to both to understand some of the references.
I would love to have brother who loves me this much, no matter who I am
In the feels early today, hard to listen to I know. It's such a raw beautiful song. ❤️
Go back to the old band Ronnie the day I left the womb I don't even relate but it makes me feel like I do and God damn it's one of my favourite songs but hurts at the same time I love it escape the fate with Ronnie was sooo damn good
Absolutely great song
The song he refderes to is called The day inleft tge womb by escape the fate when he was in that band a great song very much telling of the things hes gone through
I lost my best friend in 8th grade. She was extremely sick and it still hurts a lot. I have her obituary on my mirror. It was so empty every day on the way to the bus without her. It still feels empty. This song hits hard.
This song gets me every damn time
There is another video to this song that's a little over five minutes long that has pics at the end and some tweets that Ronnie posted after his brothers death it's definitely worth watching even if just on your own time. love your videos keep it up
Ronnie was also in LA ink, watch that video (not necesary react to but watch it) is funny and silly, ronnie making fun of himself
Lost my best friend of 22 years to suicide in 2019 and this was played at his funeral. I can't even listen to this anymore without crying, dude.
Eric: Very light hearted so far.
Me: Ohhhh no....
You never get over it. The more you accept your loved one is a memory.
The better you will be.
Billy Bob Thornton.
i can't with this song
You’ll definitely want to react to the day I left the womb from Ronnie and also his song brother from his mixtape both will give you a great amount of clarity and sense of what was going on with him in those times
This is gonna be a good one..... Breaks my heart though....
Hey guys! Awesome reaction!! Also....Did you see that Ronnie reacted to your "voices in my head" video? 😄 He really enjoyed it
His brother died in a motorcycle accident. Ronnie missed his called right before the accident ...
Ooooo ok
@@Rykerroad heartbreaking.... They were really close too...
You have to listen to The Day I Left the Womb by Escape the Fate. It’s the song he mentions being the song he wrote about the family years ago.
Ronnie's brother Anthony Randke passed from a motorcycle accident.... that's what this song is about. You didn't burt my feelings a viewer because you didn't know that this didn't thankfully didn't involve suicidei.💙 Great job on the review❤
He also has a song called Brother on his mixtape..
Dammit what a beautiful 🎵
Great reaction again guys hope you react to chemical prisoner, it's over when it's over, carry on coming home raised by the wolves and pick up the phone all by falling in reverse
Great reaction.
Falling in Reverse - Guillotine IV is another must react.
OMG this song got me in the feels .please react to the bands EVANESCENCE or BLACK VEIL BRIDES. They both have great music
Can you guys do some more Jelly Roll?
Great reaction. When is the next NF reaction?
Imho Falling in Reverse is the freshest band around atm. I mean it's pretty obvious innit? And as if that wasn't enough, I heard their management is making room for another band that's about to blow up. They had them signed with UNFD and they're releasing their 1st single with them on Tuesday. They're called October Ends. Gotta be a step ahead and prepare the next big thing after Falling In Reverse cause they've been years in the game
I noticed that you haven't yet reacted to Tom Macdonald's song Ashes.. he has a true rock and roll soul in this music video and I think you would really enjoy it 😂😂 He's such a badass in this song!! Lol
If your interested in listening to different kinds of music.
You should try "wiggle wiggle" by Raon.
It is foreign, but its a head mover.
No his brother died in a traffic accident involving his motorcycle suddenly so it hurts more he wrote it for his older brother. Anthony is his real name and his left behind a wife and five children
RONNIE RADKE - I WASH CARS
His hardest if not the hardest diss track of all time. Its actually towards his old label and your minds will be blow every verse!
NICE
Listen to his other version. It's rap and amazing
My kind of drinking vessel again Eric
Ooh u were just referenced in rock feeds UA-cam channel
It so crazy!
Ronnie have another song called brother ft. Danny Worsnop. its from his mixtape.
I think you should try out 'Chemical Prisoner' by Falling in Reverse?!?!
I want to know where you get all these random glasses for your Apple juice
check out a solo of ronnies called " never the same" please
I'm Not Crying, You're Crying 🥺🥺🥺
Right. Omg Kyle and I had to keep it together. Then I had to edit it 🤦♂️ was awful.
@@Rykerroad It's a powerful song. It certainly wasn't easy for Ronnie to write it, and even harder to sing it. I noticed how quickly your mood changed and I appreciate your sensitivity very much.
Oh man wtf did I just watch? Thought I was watching a Marvel movie. And I just got word Falling In Reverse manager has another band called October Ends that's just got signed to UNFD. They're releasing a song on June 7th. Mark my words October Ends is gonna be the next big thing
❤️
Yes its extremely sad. About his brother, who died in a motorcycle accident.
if you want another sad song you guys should react to "memento mori" by Architects. Sadly there is no music video for it but there is a really good lyric video of it. It's the last song from thair founder, former guitarist and songwriter before he passed away from cancer.
And if you rather want something fun you should really watch "hypa hypa" by Electric Callboy. I promise you guys wont be dissapointed!
Ronnie's older brother Anthony was killed in a motorcycle crash in 2013 Ronnie wrote this song for him.
@1:37 Is this going to be a sad one... ITS SAD AF 😭😞😭😞😭
So if you want possibly a extremely deeper song about a brother dying try out Pale Waves - Karl (I won’t watch because it’s insanely extremely depressing to me.) but I do enjoy Pale Waves band
This was for His brother who passed away 😔
There is a video that has an explanation at the end of it. But in my other comment i told ya what happened an it sucks that it happened to
Check out Drifter..
Another great reaction guys please react to chemical prisoner, it's over when it's over, carry on, coming home and f**k you, all your friends and raised by the wolves all by falling in reverse
Pretty pretty please check out Self Destruct Personality by FIR. Seriously it's so underrated and I really think you'll like it!!
Andrew died in a motorcycle accident around the time Ronnie’s daughter was born
😭😭😭👏👏👏👏
Day 1 of asking for Story - NF
He won't do this song live
You are never mad at them. You are mad at you: what could I have done? What would have happened if i woke up to that phone call instead of his ex-wife's the morning after.
FINALLY a GOOD Falling In Reverse song
His brother died in a motorcycle accident.
You guys know Ronnie doesn't copyright his music
Ronnie doesn't, but UA-cam or the label does. They've had problems with FIR and copyright before.
@@ExTiNkT91 it's probably UA-cam cause I don't think Ronnie would have signed the label if they copyrighted
@@fakergod1027 We are constantly battling copyrights over BS claims. Epitaph Records has made it rough to react before.
While it's lightened up in the recent months, we still have to fight claims. It's just an unfortunate truth, no matter who we react to. Very few allow us to monetize right off the bat.
@@the_campfire_official greedy ass cooperations
Guys, u so damn cool, and I watch all of ur reactions of Falling In Reverse songs. I really like to watch yours truly emotions. And I want to request to check one more song from FIR. The name of song: Coming home. Good luck to you guys, continue to do this fire reacts. And hello from Ukraine🇺🇦.
Thanks for the love.
