This battle pack was actually one of my very first LEGO sets ever, and I will always love this set for how it introduced me into the world of LEGO Star Wars and Star Wars as a whole.
Why doesn’t Lego make these anymore? They would make serious money making these kinds of battle packs. One for plain P1 and P2 clones, a couple legions, a few imperial ones and a first order one would be making them so much money! Do it Lego! Listen to your fans.
This brought me back. I remember this as my second Lego set, after the Hoth rebel battlepack. I still have all the figures and speeder apart from the AT-AT driver’s helmet which is still lost in my garden 😂. Thanks Ryan for this review.
I remember going with my dad to the LEGO store when I was five back in 2010 and picking this up (along with the rebels one). This was one of my first LEGO sets ever! So nostalgic! Keep up the great work Ryan!
My first ever Lego Star Wars set!!! Such amazing memories back in 2010. Ten years later my passion grew and grew and now I am a proud owner of the UCS Falcon.
I do wish they’d released something in this vein alongside the 2020 AT-AT. I did buy some more snow troopers second hand, but I’d have preferred a battle pack.
This was my first battle pack and I absolutely love it. Getting this and the rebel one to go with it was awesome and I loved playing with them as a kid. And I still have both battle packs built with all the pieces. Its a fantastic battle pack
I didn't get the Snowtrooper Battle Pack back in the day, but I got the opposing Hoth Rebel Battle Pack. Seeing that box design brings back so many good memories...
The At-At driver is kind of pointless, considering most people didn’t own an At-At that was an expensive set at the time of it’s launch. And if they did own it, the set aleready came with two drivers. Build your army with pointless, inaccurate figs apparently.
@@skinnyj123 ok, but that doesn’t change fact. But it’s kinda useless having an At-At driver and not an At-At. And the At-At includes two drivers, so what’s even the point...? I’m saying this not to start a fight, but to clarify what I meant.
This set will always be one of my all time favorites! One of the first few sets I picked up when I initially started into Lego heavily back in 2010. The ARC-170 was first though lol
on the topic of having two variations of a piece in a sealed set i recently picked up a sealed kanans speeder bike and the two dark grey L shaped pieces that go on the back of the bike were slightly different! one had rounded corners and one was sharper, i had never seen that before then until this review!
Damn I had this set and also a rebel one (not the one in the back of the box) that came with a turret so many years ago (7749 set), wonder where all the pieces are.
The one time an amazon vendor really let me down. I ordered this one and the rebel snow trooper battle back together back when they were around $15 but instead received x2 of the rebel version. When I tried to coordinate with the vendor, they dropped off the face of the earth. Now its usually going for 3-4 times the price.
Id love to see this redone in the 501st battle pack style, you get 4 updated snowtroopers, a snowtrooper commander or a officer and 2 hoth rebels, the builds can be a small turret for the rebels and a speeder bike and probe droid for the empire, i doubt it will happen but who knows
If they were going to do that it would probably be something like this: 2 snowtroopers 2 hoth rebels 1 Imperial officer Builds would be one of those antenna things that the Rebels had, a probe droid, a speeder for the Empire, and some sort of snowy trench where you could pose Rebels.
The “Build your army” logo is so nostalgic
trying to convince your dad to buy a second battle pack by pointing at that logo 😔
Ur mum
@@harrymcnally129 u spelt it wrong it’s ur mom not mum
@SandK Leeds "Ur" is just internet language, it's short for "your". Also, both mum and mom are correct.
@Anoying siblings Leeds Well my main point of amusement was that the other guy was talking about "mum" being incorrect.
This was one of my first sets and the other Rebel battle pack too. Wish they will do more battlepacks again like this
Bro I got both of those as my first sets to!!!! Lol
Me too i also got lukes landspeeder ironically
Me to i do hope we get more empire hoth sets that are cheap

@@ARMSMASH They really do care more about money huh.
They make more money putting good minifigs in expensive sets
Goid example is armoured marauder
Ot is army builder but expensive. If u want stormtroopers you gotta buy them expensive.
My lord, this brought back so many memories
This was the first set that I ever got! I remember I was only 4 years old when I got it. I feel so nostalgic!
Fun Fact: This was my first ever Lego set!
I think the first one I ever got was a small fire engine in 2009 when I was 4
Same
@@a_tree5793 No way! That was mine too!
@@quinng.93 Ah nice. I can’t remember exactly what it looked like but I remember liking it a lot

Wow. This was my second Lego Set. I recently lost it in a fire, but I managed to buy another one just last week. This set it really good tbh.

Maybe probe droid as build and snowtrooper commander?
My first ever Lego Star Wars set!!! Such amazing memories back in 2010. Ten years later my passion grew and grew and now I am a proud owner of the UCS Falcon.
Wow. My biggest set is the UCS Gunship. I haven’t got the kind of money to buy the UCS Falcon
So good! The hoth rebel battle pack was my first one. This brings back memories.
For sure one of my favourite battle packs and also, ryan the stream earlier was pog
