'A Look Into' BA Supershorts 2021: Susanna and Cianna | London Film Academy

58 films shot in as little as 29 days: now that’s a headline right there. Tight timeframes are no unforeseen circumstance within the film industry, however, having the stamina and endurance levels to keep up is something you’ll need to hone over time. As soon as the national lockdown was lifted, on 8 March, we opened our LFA doors once more - after what has been a very challenging year for our filmmakers - and, in no time, our Covid safe site was brought back to life. We were met with buckets of enthusiasm and ambition as our students began shooting their first ever film projects. Whilst back on set, they continued to demonstrate their resilience and adaptability; skills that are imperative for any filmmaker to have under their belt.
We spoke with Susanna and Cianna, both current BA (Hons) Filmmaking students at LFA, who shared the highlights and challenges of shooting their first films as well as life back on set! We’ll be sharing more clips from our students in the days ahead, stay tuned!
