A BIG Thank YOU for this video, i think this is probably the most informative yet short video on youtube. My question is what time frame would you recommend a day trader to use this MA on ? thank you again
Of all the training videos on UA-cam, I have found the Secret Mindset, honest, straightforward and informative. There's no attempt to push expensive indicators based on established models. Moreover, an honest approach to inform and guide.
Thanks for this great video. I simply put this with MACD (default settings). the MACD cross-over serves as entry points and helpful in making good decisions. It is clean and not complicated. I had tested it a week and had a net +50pips for day trading. Hope this helps. thanks.
It's a good strategy but you are basically trading supports and resistances levels based on the trend direction by using EMA21 and EMA55 crossovers. I have tested your strategy and what I found is that most of times, after the breakout, the asset makes a pullback to the previous breakout level (for example, take a look to the graphics at minute 8.49, 9.14, 9.22 and 9.26.. Always return). So, as a way to improve the strategy, is to open the position after you have the pullback confirmation and not inmediately after the breakout. Regards and thanks for the idea!

From all your videos, I personally have the best results with this one , I know that we are all different , what works for me will not necessary work for others, but for day trading or scalping Forex this methodology has generated steady positive results for me on tick charts or 1 min or 2 min time frame
Bro, let me say a sincere thing: the data trend of any variety in the foreign exchange market has its own characteristics. Since there are characteristic things, there must be laws. In the foreign exchange market, I am a newcomer, but what I do now is: for 6 consecutive months, I watch the market for at least 12 hours a day. I just watched a few varieties, I was feeling them. I found that EMA or MA alone is not enough. But it is undeniable that the intersection is the signal.
this is awesome strategy... tested in crypto market... i just put little tweak.. instead of simple moving average i used the HMA 21, 55, same concept.. thanks...
I've been using HMA for some time and find it highly effective. I set the line thick and have it change colour when the direction changes. After watching the video and just had a look at your 21/55 combination on my charts, it looks excellent, thanks!
Thank you for sharing this info, I found the detail on use of Fib settings and comparison to Bolinger bands a fresh perspective. I really learn a lot from your videos and find much value in your training.
I had to eventually build my own MAs from unique math to finally get workable indicator plots that were effective for tracking the price action... and to identify shifts in momentum.

Hi! Than you for a such amazing videos you post. I see you show the strategy on 5 minutes timeframe. Can use that strategy on 1 minute timeframe whit the same MA21 / 55 or could be better faster MAs? Thanks!
If we were supplementing 21/55MAs in a breakout strategy, aren't the MA and price action essentially "painting the same picture using different brushes?" Meaning, when price action expands to make higher high and contracts, then breaks prev. higher high for a breakout entry, the 21MA would also get further away from the 55MA, then comes back closer into the "dynamic zone." Thus, you could trade a breakout without 21/55MA. How would adding these MA indicators provide additional benefit to the breakout strategy? Unless there's possibly a scenario where MA and price action show different stories?
@Khalil Crypto a Golden Retriever is a breed of dog; but so is a Husky and Poodle. Just because they're different breeds does not mean they're not dogs. Using the same analogy, if dog was the general direction of the stock and the Poodle was the price action, adding Husky (MA) wouldn't make dog more of a dog.

Well presented rationale I am subscribed already to your channel. Learn something new every day. I need to up my game. Hoping to improve my day trades by complementing them with zooming in on shorter time frames to eventually become a scalper 😊
Be careful of moving into daytrading scalping on super fast time frames. It is valid, but also very technical, must be momentum-based, and better be quick on the draw with great consistency and accuracy. Much more difficult than it sounds to perform well over thousands of trades. Possible but unfortunately not super probable uless you are extremely disciplined.
Thanks for the video and I have a question to ask. As we all know there are many screeners to search for moving average cross overs but they all use DAILY MOVING AVERAGES. Let's say I would like to find stocks that their 20 week moving averages just crossed over their 40 weeks moving averages. Since I only can use daily moving averages to search, my question is what would be the equivalent daily moving average numbers to use that as a result I find stocks showing the 20/40 cross overs on their weekly charts. I hope this question is clear enough. Any comments welcome!
I'm not sure which time frame you are talking about. Does your platform have weekly charts? If so, that is simply get the c/o on the weekly chart first, then go to the daily chart for your entries/exits according to your plan. If you are wanting to get weekly c/o information on a daily chart, then a week would have 5 days of information in 1 bar. So if you want 20 weeks on a daily that would be 20 x 5 = 100 MA. And of course the 40 would be 200. Hope this helps. All the best !

If we take a pair of high difference in their period no. , it's common sense that they will crossover more often and hence give MORE fake signals. But as we move towards a lower difference in their period no.s then the number of fake signals reduce but also the overall number of signals become more unclear & reduce (as the crossovers won't be as sharp as before).
