What a fine piece. Scott joplin forever.
Excellent tempo and phrasing! Many people play Weeping Willow and Bethana too fast.
So beautiful and mature way of playing
Fantastic!
So smooth
Sweet! Thank you!
beautiful ♡
this really speaks to me. i hear the theme from curb your enthusiasm in the last section.
Superb
When I first saw the length of this video, I said to myself this was going to be played way to slow. After listening I can tell that this is the way Joplin would’ve wanted it to be played. Well played!
It is not just how fast or slow a rag is played, but more importantly, it is how the notes and phrases within are molded and how the overall sound is created.
This piece represents loneliness in the life of scott joplin.
These may have been lost forever if he didn't ply them
65 BPM........THAT IS HOW SCOTT PLAYED ..........78-80 BPM IS WAY TOO HURRIED
