Bokor field development - BOCCP-A topside float-over utilizing dynamic positioning

Surgical precision, that’s how the float-over installation of the 11,500 ton Bokor CPP-A platform topside offshore Sarawak, Malaysia can be characterized. For this incredibly precise operation our semi-submersible heavy transport vessel Forte was fitted out with a dynamic positioning (DP2) system that automatically controlled its position and course during the installation activities. With very limited space to maneuver during the float-over, true craftsmanship was displayed by the project team and crew onboard the Forte.
