Well done This reminds me my dad made similar press back in sixties.He was automotive engineer had his own garage so this was quite useful.Sadly he passed away in 1996.I must say he was genius in inventing new ideas.
Thank you for making this video which takes the mystery out of making your own hydraulic press. Now, I can go ahead and adapt it to suit my needs. I am planning on building a system which takes two jacks over an extended platform. The finished product would be motorised to really take advantage of the double jacks in the set-up. So, yes, thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
Дело мастера боится. 😂 реально боится. Запрессовать подшипник не через оправку а через внутреннее кольцо, сломав сепаратор и согнув шары, и потом крутить на пальце, удивляясь, почему не крутится. 😂 я себе такой же пресс сделал из домкрата на три тонны. В общем при выпрессовке ступичного подшипника уголки усиленные вверенной в них трубой согнуло как масло. Сверху усилил тем же уголком домиком кинув с верхней точки биссектрису в место опоры домкрата, там выдержало. Так что одноразовая штука, так сайлентблоки прессовать. На десятитонных прессах опора детали из стали около сантиметра. На работе такой стоит)
Well done. Brief additions as to size of material and length of cuts would be terrific. Looks like 1 1/2” angle iron and maybe 1 1/2” x 3 1/2” tubing? But what is the length of the vertical tubing and the length of the angle iron, etc? Thanks.

Can you tell me all the measurements you have done , I mean size of pieces cut and distance between them. Once again thanks for the vedio you may not know how many people all around the world will make their living out of this vedio and start there business.

When looking for bottle jacks my sure you always pick a good brand like big red or noreco. I’ve only ever used those but I pick houses up with them so I figured they are pretty alright

Hello Dajan, just wanted to ask if you know of any ferro (mild steel) suppliers, besides going to Technomat or Leroy Merlins, so i can buy ferro for other projects here in Vicenza italy. Any help is very greatful, Grazie
It should rest on a table, not on floor, because it is short. You should have made the main C-channel posts longer, like 5 feet, so you do not have to bend down looking at what you're pressing.

Well done but if you press your bearing in by pressing on the inner race like on the video you will simply kill the bearing !!! you MUST use an adapter to press on the OUTER race, this is basic engineering.

Good job,but it moves like pendulum if you will not stable it at the bottom .I think bottom side hight increase or and + type support for two legs makes it more stable.

The tolerances on those measurements don’t really warrant an itemized list. It’s really just up to who’s making it.

3 to 5 ton max press, the material is to weak in s tructure for 10 ton, the eq angle will bend !
