Personally, there are a lot of people who will recommend you not do it, but i would suggest researching and learning how to set one up yourself. That's what i've done. If you do any kind of dance or yoga, apply the same focus and flow and then just play. Circus is all about Play. You can do it right now... all those same moves she is doing, can be done on the floor as well for practice. Get started, and the rest will come : ) xx
Thank you sooo much for your advice... unfortunately senior project is already over and I had to choose something else. However, I now have my own aerial hoop and I am beginning to practice stretching. I have been doing yoga for 2 years now also!!! :D
@TheTreedodger59 I'm actually living in the U.S. I think I've found a mentor for senior project now, but thanks a million for your patience and advice!!
Just to be clear, aerial arts are not something you should be teaching yourself. You should a qualified instructor or professional aerialist at a proper institution or studio. Aerial practice of any kind has inherent risk and you should be properly taught before attempting things on your own. Also you should not be rigging equipment without consulting a qualified rigger. Seek put professionals. This girl is clearly performing at a school or studio. She has been instructed so she can safely
One of the more graceful and beautiful lyra performances I'm seen yet! Nice job maintaining fluidity and stease (style with ease)!
I loved this performance, simple, clean and well done. Congratulation, this performance will be my reference in Brazil.
I love how slow you take these moves. I'm adding this to my playlist and will study this again for later. I'm sure this'll help me improve.

Agreed. There are a lot of accidents/deaths that happen in the industry to even professionals.
