Good work on this, use the same method with golf, work and baseball caps. But I use oxyclean ..... soak them in that for up to 24 hours before the magic eraser
When you buy a new hat before you wear it just spray it with hat saver spray and you don't have to worry about stains. After about 3 to 6 months depending on how much you sweat you may need to clean a few spots by hand then re treat it and you're good to go.
I'm not sure what lipstick is made of...but I believe it is a grease. And Dawn dish soap with light work from a toothbrush not used by anyone should remove nearly all that lipstick.

NOPE 3 buckets. First warm water Dawn dish soap, second warm water Dawn dish soap, third cool water. Soak in first bucket for a few minutes remove put in second bucket and scrub with a brush rinse in third bucket hang to dry. You will find the water in first bucket is DISGUSTINGLY black, water the second not much better and the third relatively clear.

Put them in the dishwasher....top rack. It does a great job!
I spray mine with oxy clean stain remover and let it dry before I put em in the dishwasher… game changer

Great video. Will do going forward. At drying tip from my wife is to put a medium sized ball in your hat while drying to help keep the shape.
Never tried this method but it seems good. I usually put mine in the dishwasher sitting on a small colander/strainer to hold its shape.

I put 5 in the washer by themselves, put the washer on hand wash and when they are done I set them outside in the sun to dry.
Use shout it out first then Use detergent last
