You may not have a proper app for viewing this content -WhatsApp

When i try to open apk file from whatsapp group, whatsapp says 'You may not have a proper app for viewing this content'. I can't open the appk file from whatsapp itself.
Solution: Open File Manager, go to WhatsApp folder, Media folder, WhatsApp Documents folder where you can find the downloaded apk file. Click the file to install it.
Did not find a matching file type viewer
