S1: Op needs to pull her head out of her butt. Exhubby is obviously a danger to her daughter, and measures need to be taken. And he obviously didn't learn anything from his brother's problems. Because he went right back to mommy and concocted a plan to basically kidnap his daughter. Take off the rose colored glasses before your daughter suffers the fall out.
Story 1: There's only one situation where you should even slightly consider taking back an ex when there were horrible in-laws involved, and that's if they were just as spineless when dealing with you as they were with them. That implies a general personality problem based on low self-esteem and other personal issues that a whole lot of therapy can help them with. If they actually had the balls to stand against you when you were being bullied and decided to stand up for yourself, then that means they are not spineless. Clearly, they have enough of a spine to go against you, so it means they just never gave enough of a damn about you or respected you enough to go against their relatives and have your back.
He really is the most shallow example of a man. Wife can abandon him to mess with whatever guys she wants and goes wherever she wants. But he will wait like a puppy for her to come back. His daughter is gonna have no respect for him when she grows up
S2 Guy didn't want to get back with her at any point. She asked for a second chance and he said no. God damn, what story are you guys reading?? I literally just heard the comments pressuring him into being in a relationship with Jill when he literally just said that Jill is not the priority and he can't solely focus on her. He was not waiting for his ex-wife, especially since he moved on and got into a relationship. He's made mistakes but dont act like you're all flawless and perfect. He had feelings for his ex-wife because that was the woman he married for x amount of hears and had a kid with.
