I don't understand why we say 'Amen' to negative things. The word 'Amen' should only be said in answer to good and righteous things! We must remember that our words are receptacles of power to the Holy Spirit!
Amen is an interjection associated with the Hebrew words for truth and dependability, it conveys the idea of agreement or emphasis, and its meaning can be translated different ways depending on the context. Majority of the time after a prayer. However, Fr Blount was using it in terms of saying “don’t you agree?” Or “do you agree with me?” Or “can you understand what I’m saying?”

Mary has been telling me to find a way..... MG needs Confession asap, and to teturn to yhe Church. Both of us need healing, if it's His Will... But MH needs immediate Confession after 50 years away. He may have s fatal disease, soon to be officially and definitely fishnosed

Not sure, Fr Jim is not the parish priest of this Church. He’s not in charge of where they placed the tabernacle.
